A nice cosy café that offers well-priced fresh and delicious salads, sandwiches and baked goods (that are all made in house) with good coffee and smoothies. I had the Roasted Red Pepper Rocket & Hummus Sourdough Sandwich [£5.75] and Spring Green Smoothie [£3.50] – Red Apple, Pear, Spinach, Avocado, Agave Nectar. Both were delicious. Food is fresh, with decent portion size and toppings. They do have a selection of vegan options, also they usually have 1 or 2 vegan cakes/baked goods daily (that sells out in the morning most of the time!). Friendly and chill staff. It is quite busy during the weekends.
Not a lot of tables, but they do have a good number of tables upstairs as well. I would definitely recommend Kalm Kitchen for good food at pretty low prices, a nice quiet café that is slightly off the high street to chill at. Hopefully they will increase their vegan offerings!
Really nice and friendly small cafe with good quality coffee and service. Cakes look good too although I'm not a fan of produce sitting uncovered. If it had air conditioning or at least fans, then I would have given 5 stars.......
Having been in a few times now I have upgraded this review to a five star as the breakfast of poached eggs on sourdough with avocado and bacon is simply magical. I tend to remember it for days afterwards....
Frequently come here for a quick juice or smoothie. Staff are always friendly. Can get busy at weekends which means finding a seat can be tricky. Drinks are made with fresh fruit and veg. The food is excellent and always looks appetising. All in all a great neighborhood spot
What a delightful venue for a coffee and a lunch. We stopped in and found so many mouth watering options we were spoilt for taste. Guildford is just packed with so many lovely Cafe's to choose from. This cafe was very busy at lunch time when we were there, but the service was great. The seating was comfortable with a great ambience. Good choice for us, will call back.
Lovely spot with great selection of homemade yummies, and well made coffee too.
Enjoyed our late afternoon coffee & matcha latte! Friendly & polite staff. Lovely atmosphere! Would definitely return. ♡
Consistently the best cup of coffee in Guildford (though there are a couple of places I’ve not tried yet!). The food is imaginative, tasty, and for those that want it there is an extensive gluten free range (including their quiches and pasties). Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Most importantly - plan your visit carefully! The cafe is tiny and the space is limited but by all means worth it. If too full, you can still get your coffee and snacks takeaway.
The staff is very friendly and given the amount of visitors, very fast. The environment is lovely and cosy and just perfect for a weekend brunch.
Food and drinks are awesome, a classic selection as well as nice surprises. I had the guacamole, poached egg and bacon sourdough slice - it was very tasty but maybe I'd suggest toasting the bread first. Soya latte was good too. However, hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows looked like from another world - well done on that.
Definitely worth a visit, but as I said, you have to wake up early or wait around for bit.
Lovely coffee and local tea, delicious cakes and bakes with a lot of choices for those who are gluten free. The location is very cosy and the staff are friendly. Choose when to come wisely, as some times such as Saturday afternoons are very busy - for good reason!
Customer service received from Georgina and Gaby was absolutely lovely and just for that reason alone I'd return. We went along on a Tuesday afternoon, so not busy. They had a lovely selection of vegan and gluten free cakes, however not a combined vegan gluten free option which would have been ideal for me. Will definitely be returning and recommend for an uplifting experience.
