Absolutely loved staying at this beautiful hotel. Caroline’s attention to detail, we have got to give her 10/10. The hotel is immaculate, offering little extras in case we had forgotten anything. Simply loved relaxing in the garden and the staff were always on hand looking after us. Will definitely be returning to recharge our batteries. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay simply perfect x

A very welcoming restaurant. A roaring fire, friendly dogs, gentle chatter and quiet background music. Excellent atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was good and well presented but was a little bland. Lasagna was good quality but it would have completed the dish with a little side salad. Carrot soup was by far the best part. Price was in keeping with the area, but would have been high anywhere else. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant. Thank you.

Beautiful country pub in the heart of peaslake. Lots of outdoor seating where you can watch the cyclists and walkers go by. Some amazing local beers and extensive wine list. The food is a mix of English and authentic Italian. There are also 15 boutique rooms if you want to stay overnight. The pub is open 7 days a week, 10 am till 11 pm, serving food all day, Friday, Sunday, and lunch and dinner from Mon to Thurs. They also offer a takeaway service, food, and drinks between 5pm and 9pm.

I really like the location of this pub, it’s so close to one of my favourite biking spots and this makes what I’m about to say really painful. I love their beer selection, always have a tasty tipple for me to get stuck into after a good biking session. I had the Firebird Citra for the first time this day and I enjoyed it a lot. The staff are friendly and willing to help, which is all positive and encouraging. The food hasn’t been amazing the last couple of years though, I thought this time it would be different, but I was sadly a little dissatisfied and disappointed. I got a sausage and onion baguette and to be fair that is exactly what I got. But… For £10 I would expect what I got to come with Chips and sadly it didn’t, we had to order chips for an extra £7 admittedly we went for the cheesy chips, but I’m fairly certain the standard ones were a fiver. Then the second nail in the coffin was the Half pint of Diet Coke I got, this was £3!! For a half pint of soda stream Diet Coke… that’s a lot by anyone’s standards especially round here. It feels they are slightly taking advantage of the fact that lots of bikers come here and expect they have lots of money, but this is a country pub yet they are charging London prices for some things. I hope my next experience is more positive, but I can’t help but be honest. My mates Steak Baguette did look better, and was only 50p more, but chips included even just a small portion would go a long way.

A great pub in the Surrey hills. Ideal for mountain bikers and cyclists generally. Very well run pub with excellent food choices. Always popular especially in the summer, so advisable to book. The pub also has accommodation which is supposed to be very good, although I haven’t personally experienced it. Highly recommended.

Management is impeccable here, run a tight shift and offer an excellent quality of service. Paulie is second to none as lead, always accommodating and sets this place apart. Quality beer and pizzas as always. I highly recommended to anybody visiting the area, can't beat the location.

Nice place, with a decent selection of drinks including local beers. Plenty of space, and the service is quick and friendly. The chairs are comfortable which I hugely appreciated after a day of walking! They also have a log burner inside, and WiFi for customers. There’s a large outdoor seating area too, which I can imagine is nice in the summer.

Hired for a large family gathering. Catering and service were absolutely top notch. Having the hotel upstairs was very useful for family members travelling a long distance. We had the whole second dining room to ourselves for a very long time. The bar was well stocked and the staff were very helpful and friendly the whole time. Highly recommend for just a bite to eat/stop over or a larger party.
