Very very food!!! Highly recommend this place.
Some of the staff very sweet but some cannot wait to take a empty plate of your table , keeps on cleaning it as you eat- very annoying!
Has gone to the top of my list as my favourite sushi place. Food and presentation was amazing, as you would expect. Staff were very kind and friendly. Tried Oolong tea for the first time, which was actually delicious.
My only criticism is that there is too much on the menu!! It is impossible to choose! Will have to keep coming back so that I can sample everything. Luckily it is not prohibitively priced too, so it is worth travelling the miles.

I went there for my birthday with family , when you arrived they greet you , take you to the table ask you for drinks and give you the menu. When the drinks arrived they ask you are you ready to order within few mins the starter come out, the staff come back ask as if the food is ok, when we finish they bring out the mains course, come back check as if we was ok we was still happy then took away the mains we finish then they bring out the dessert menu we order. They made as feel warm welcome and smooth evening seeing staff smile very friendly Will be definitely coming back near future.

Staff were fantastic, very warm and welcoming and very attentive. The food was amazing, very flavourful, fresh and well presented, above all the atmosphere was nice and the prices were just about right. I will defiantly be going back there.
This was our first time visiting and we will be back for sure. Phenomenal sushi, attentive staff and great atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I were looking around Guildford around 9pm for food and luckily for us, Sushi Nara took us in (we ordered real quick and left the restaurant at 10!) and the service was marvellous - everyone was very friendly and even the owner were cracking jokes with us.
The food - I have been here multiple times for the past few years and it's been a while since I have been - but after being back a few days ago, I remember why I loved this place. We had the kimchi pancake, which was crispy - just the way we like it! The chicken katsu was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. My boyfriend had the udon chicken and the umami flavour dancing in our tongues! We had the mango mochi ice cream and matcha ice cream for dessert. The mango mochi was great, can never go wrong with it. The matcha ice cream was powerful, which we prefer but a bit too icy. Nonetheless, it was great!
We will definitely come back to try more from the menu soon! Thank you!

Salmon is very fresh and delicious, you can taste the quality of salmon is great. Tuna sushi is a bit not that good compared to salmon but still acceptable.

Special roll with salmon and avocado with spicy mayonnaise sauce. Very tasty and delicious! This is our favourite one! They put the spicy sauce as a side so even you canβt handle spicy you can still enjoy it! Very niceπ

The bibimbap is hot enough and with the spicy sauce added on it is just perfect for us! We share it together and everyone like it! Quite healthy choice they mix with different vegetables and egg. Very fulfilling.

Pan fried chicken and vegetables with spicy sauce on. Not very spicy at all, quite delicious and we all like it!

I think this one is quite similar to chicken bulgogi. Pan fried squid with vegetables with spicy sauce added on. Same sauce with chicken bulgogi. We like it and I think if you looking for some hot food to eat I would recommend this.
Service is amazing all staffs are very helpful, friendly and you can see they are always put a smile on βΊοΈ the atmosphere is very chilling and relax. Recommend and definitely will come visit again!

This is probably the best Japanese (and Korean) food in Guildford. We like it so much that we went twice a week apart. Staff are very hospitable, not too long to wait for food, food tastes delicious and fresh. We'll probably go again soon.

Delicious Japanese restaurant. We went there for late dinner to celebrate my boyfriend 's bday and we had a great experience. The sushi was fresh and the staff was super friendly! I highly recommend this place.

Amazing independent sushi spot at the top of Guildford. It has a really cosy, authentic atmosphere/aesthetic. The staff were so attentive and polite, a real pleasure. We were served quickly and efficiently and to top it all off some of the best sushi I've ever had!! It was so flavourful and fresh, it was perfection!!

The food is very delicious. Miso soup is authentic. I like their salmon sashimi as the piece is really thick. The dragon roll is my favourite. Today I tried the reel with rice for the first time. The eels are tasty but I find too much rice underneath. The staff are really friendly and food served quick. Itβs a very happy dining experience.
This place is a hidden gem. Staff are wonderfully friendly, atmosphere delightful and food comes out freshly made and in a timely manner. I really appreciated the little details of the spy sauce pourer and chopstick holders and little bowls. I will definitely be coming back here to explore more of the menu
Great place. After a misunderstanding with the booking they were able to accommodate us. The service was very nice, although I could tell they were a bit overwhelmed, it's normal in this situation!
The food was amazing, we had all things to share so we could try many different things. The eel roll was very very good, the special California roll was disappointing and not very special (but it's fine if you just want a California roll, just not that exciting). Takoyaki and the magma rolls were great. And the highlight for me was the pudding, banana tempura, lovely flavour, crispiness, sweetness and lovely presentation.
The price was quite good value for a Japanese restaurant.
This is probably the best restaurant in Guildford. Authentic, tasty food, which is of excellent value. It is a very clean restaurant. The staff are very friendly and honest. I once misplaced my credit card, and I was very happy that the staff had found it and kept it safe for me the next day.

Absolutely fantastic food! Decent prices, friendly staff, fast service. Not a big fun of QR code orders (prefer menus) but here dialectic comes into play, if one wants fast service and decent prices QR code is clearly the way to go. However, they could improve WiFi service by implementing auto-connect once QR code is scanned!

Proper authentic Asian food in the heart of Guildford. Not fancy or overpriced, but homely and down to earth. The bibimbap is the best I've had for a while - served in a proper hot stone bowl - and the sushi and gyoza are excellent as well. One of my favourite places in Guildford to eat. One small thing I'd change and which I always like in Asian-owned restaurants is free or endless tea of some kind if you order a meal. I'm also not a fan of ordering via an app - you do have the option of ordering from a member of staff though. Part of the eating experience for me is the social aspect and also chatting to the serving staff for recommendations etc.
