Went here with my wife and daughter for a birthday lunch.The staff were so helpful and out going.The food was the best I have eaten outside of Italy .I highly recommend the Linguine Alo Scoglio which was fantastic and the portion sizes are huge .One we will be going back to
Definitely worth a visit, must book though as it gets busy, very quaint and cosy. Defo one to go back to, customer service was excellent, food was piping hot, loved it, just too big portion for me be nice to have a "senior" sized portion. (Big child)
Our first visit to this first class restaurant. We booked lunch for the following day and asked if they had an alternative for the potatoes and pasta on their menu; the reason being we eat low carb meals. They didn’t but they promised to order in some Quinoa that evening especially for my wife and I. The staff were friendly and engaging, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. I couldn’t have wished for a better birthday lunch. Thank you and we’ll definitely be back soon.
Waiters were first class, food was even better highly recommended if you like a great atmosphere along with great service and top notch food at great prices !! Can I have a free meal now 😂👍
Fantastic food and staff. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. It was my birthday and flowers arrived as s special treat. I couldn't recommend them enough but please book as it does get very busy

Had lunch here to celebrate my daughters birthday. The staff are lovely. Very attentive without being annoying. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.
Can highly recommend Positano really superb food and excellent service...would definitely go again but don’t live in the area...the staff were very friendly and the ambiance was great fun

Went to Positano for my daughters hen lunch with family and friends. Excellent service and food. Just one little niggle very steep stairs to toilet so my 90 year old mother was not able to get up them but that was the only thing everything else was fine and enjoyed it. The staff were brilliant. Would definitely visit again

Had the specials. A marinaded tar-tar swordfish starter which was really tasty and a fantastic Sea Bream main course. The best Italian food I've eaten since I was in Florence. All for a good price with an excellent white wine. 2 dined for under £100. Visit it soon!
What a fantastic restaurant, the food was wonderful and the ambience charming and relaxed. The service we received was first class. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. This was our first visit, can’t wait to return and sample further delicious delights on the menu. Loved the chocolate soufflé �

Very good little independent Italian. Located upstairs in one of the older buildings in Guildford. I find it really charming and authentic. Others may say it's a bit small but it's all part of the charm. Always good food when I've visited. Has a real nice family feel and I've never been disappointed with the quality.
Not only The staff here are super friendly and cheerful. The food are fantastic and the set lunch menu is only £12.4 for two courses. I told the waitress it’s my friend’s birthday two days ago, and they gave us a surprise with an ice cream with candle, they are so lovely!! We definitely will come back again and highly recommended coming here for any celebration or special occasions.
Wow wow wow! I can’t believe I’ve never been to this restaurant before. But I can say for certain I will definitely come again. The food is so yummy and authentic and the vibes are immaculate. Cannot recommend enough.

The authentic Italian food is amazing, delicious every time no matter what is chosen on the menu. I had the swordfish this time and it was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. Very good for the money.

I booked Positano for our anniversary meal yesterday and it was everything I wanted it to be! The atmosphere is so romantic and just beautiful. The service was incredible, the food was outstanding and the music made us feel like we were sat in Italy! I would recommend this place to anyone. Our new favourite!

My favourite Italian restaurant in Guildford! Exceptional food all around, great wine selection and super friendly staff and owners. It is one of the few independent restaurants in Guildford and a must try.
Lovely lunch, mussels starter and spaghetti carbonara were delightful. Service is also flawless, waiters great fun and really appreciate your custom. Can’t wait to go back again soon!
We’ve been here a few times over the years and the service is always impeccable, and the food is always delicious and generously portioned. The staff are knowledgable and friendly and hold themselves to very high standards. Very enjoyable.
I recently visited Positano Italien restaurant in Guildford. The restaurant was busy, but the service was fast and efficient. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and penne Calabrese, and both dishes were delicious. The prices were still fair, and the lunch menu for 2 courses for £12.50 is a good deal.
The restaurant is located in a historic building in the center of Guildford. The interior is elegant, with dark wood paneling, original beams, and banquette seating. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is attentive and friendly.
