Friendly staff and great local cider - rocquette
Great beer/Ale/Cider selection, also Gin and Whiskeys. Comfortable atmosphere, with friendly staff. Hot Dogs are HUGE!!! Just missing a Pool Table, but they have some board games and that. And live music performances at night
Stayed in Guernsey for two weekends and this pub is by far the best on the island, excellent beer and great service. Only 2 ales on at our visit but looks like there is usually 4 or 5 ales to choose from.
Nice position near the harbour and seating outside in pedestrianised Street in the old quarter of town, just about the only pub we have found
Okay-ish pub, although when we visited early mid-week evening last week the place felt a little soul-less, and definitely chilly. Great selection of beers and gins, although one of the beers I tried (a juniper based brew, I think) was as close to tasteless as beer could be. Not the fault of the pub,
No food but who needs it if you are after the best choice of real ales on the Island. Friendly barman, good knowledge of Ales. Camra member discount offered but just ask in case. Good beer choice but nothing much offered over 4%.
Lee does a great job and his staff are excellent. The pub is so much more than it used to be since the refit (entirely different clientele and atmosphere). It's a pleasure to enjoy now.

This is an amazing craft beer house which is owned by White Rock Brewery, which is Guernsey's only mico-brewery. This totally independent beer house serves 6 local ales and rotates through 11 other draught products from around the globe. The bar also serves many gins, whiskeys, vodkas and rums. Gold

Great lagers an ales, the best music on whether it's weekday or weekend! All the staff are bang on, theres never a issue getting seved either. There's always a good vibe in this place! If your in Guernsey this is the best spot in St. Peters port end of
Since the refurbishment The Golden Lion has become a wonderful, modern pub for lovers of craft beer. Great to see Guernsey keeping up with the trends for once. Well done guys.
We were invited to a private function in the upstairs room which is well laid out with its own bar. Enough space for dj and some rather interesting 80s dancing.
Board games available. Decent beer. Music playing, but an cquired taste.
