Sad to say all standards have dropped. The food, chips are hard, fish batter was dark and bitter tasting. I have been a visitor to Beeton's for many years, it's a shame they have stopped trying to be the best, they used to be the best in the channel Islands. Front of house staff need to learn some skills when dealing with customers. Such a shame. I would normally use them at least twice a week. Please get back to serving great tasting food. Don't live on your past reputation. It's hard to get a great reputation for good food like you used to have.

Easily one of the best chippies on the island. The batter doesn't taste like it's fried on day old oil like the others. They also have a cafe inside serving sandwiches and the likes.

Superb value for money for a tourist. We expected a price of £10-£15 a portion (it was our last day on Guernsey and we were drifting around until our ferry at 5pm looking for something for lunch) based on our previous 5 days on the island. When we were told £15 total our first comment was "No, 2 portions". That was for 2 portions. All freshly cooked and you could even eat them inside. 2 weeks hence I still struggle to believe it.

Great freshly fried fish and chips. Other casual food options included. Very busy long queues limited seating area. Very popular takeaway place.

We come here most weeks as its easy for us on a specific day. Food is good, staff are quite miserable at times. The service is good.

My review is not that one of a customer.. I delivered there today, the team where spot on and so helpful.. If you ever deliver to a buisness you really get to see behind the scenes.. This place is absolutely spotlessly clean behind the scenes.. There standards are 100 percent.. Thanks for taking the 2 pallets today team Beatons 👍

It’s a 3.5 really. As a Yorkshireman I have high standards for my fish ‘n’ chips. The chips were a bit dry but decent enough, fish good and great size, batter not as light as I’d like but still nice. Mushy peas very good and all at a good price 👌🏼 I’ll return

Probably the best fish and chips in the island although it does not have the traditional or classic look. Great and varied offer with good hygienic conditions. You feel it is a spot where lots of locals go and get their treaty food. A bubble of light immersed in the traffic junction and the winter weather.

BEETONS I tell you what, I’ll challenge you to beat this for excellent value: £3.75 for the lunchtime special Cheeseburger 🍔 (1/4lb), small chips (generous) and a drink. It was £3.50 for at least the last 2 years and they’ve only recently put it up 25p, which in current food prices terms, is remarkable. (See other lunchtime specials attached) Best chips in Guernsey by a mile #CantBeatBeetons — at Beetons Chippie

Consistently and without doubt the best fish and chips on the island. I have to drive past two other places on the way there and do so with a smile on my face. The batter is so crispy it holds the weight of the fish on its own. I’m yet to find a bone. The chips are perfect. That’s all I can say about them. I asked my 4 year old what she wanted for her birthday and she said chips from here and I understand why. If I get reincarnated as a fish I won’t be disappointed if I end up in their deep fat fryer. Whatever they do,they just need to keep doing it.
