Small convenience store that also does hot and cold takeaway rolls, pies, cakes and tea/coffee. I can highly recommend the black pudding and fried egg rolls - best black pudding I’ve tasted for a long time. I will definitely be back for more…

Popped in for some sweets for our car journey. Despite living about a mile away I'd never been in the shop before. I now know what a wee treasure it is. Well stocked, clean and tidy. The behind the counter was friendly and we had a laugh as she served me.
It can be difficult to get parked near the shop because of the zigzag road markings and pedestrian crossing right outside but you can usually get parked either just before the zigzags or after them at the other side of the crossing.

Great local shop! It was one of
My favorite spots when living in Guardbridge. The store is always very clean and organized. The staff is super friendly and they make good coffee too. You can often find unique products that surprise you and are very tasty
Beyond comparison, this is a classic 'off the beaten track' gem.
The staff are friendly fun and polite beyond reproach. Their service is incredibly fast, and it's tailored perfectly. There's never a feeling they're fed up or the usual 'lovely weather' chat you usually get. It's always genuine warm and most the time humorous.
The food, well.... Its amazing. So for a sandwich - factory made basic sort of tuna mayo deal - and coffee in the local shop is about £5.
For a steak and black pudding pie (who ever created that needs knighted) a large latte and a freshly cooked and made egg haggis and tattie scone roll... £6. Where is the comparison?
They cook the rolls in front of you, it's never dropping oil or grease or fat.
The produce always tastes to a high standard and is cooked to a great standard.
And their coffee is a treat in itself.
All this without touching on the fact the shop opens about 0600 and it sells everything you could really want from a village shop.
Worth a visit even if transiting through, and if youre local this should become a regular haunt. If you miss out on this, you're only cheating yourself.
Really good sandwiches, baguettes and coffee! Also they are so lovely in there, willing to go out of their way to help you. Would highly recommend for a lunchtime break :)
Fantastic service and by far the best coffee, really friendly and welcoming people
Another fantastic links sausage and egg roll from the girls. Friendly welcome everytime. Fudge doughnuts are to die for.
The friendly shop has been recently changed owners and been completely revamped with a sufficient offer of carefully selected quality products, Great baguettes, amazing custard rolls and definitely the best coffee in the area.
Anything you'd expect from a corner shop that size....
Great little shop for a quick stop. Coffee and breakfast rolls. Staff are also really friendly.
Brilliant wee shop, has all the essentials and more. The coffee is great and staff are always very friendly. Can reccomend the baguettes for lunch!
Keep up the great work Dan and team!
Lovely wee friendly shop, kept me going 2 years ago when I was working out there and had my lunch from here every day, banter was on point and they were the happiest wee roll shop id had the luxury of spending my lunch breaks in for many moons, will drop in and buy from here again for sure, also have great selection of confectionery aswell so it's a handy wee 1 stop shop
Stopped for a latte and bacon & egg roll before walking the coastal path to St. Andrews. Immaculate shop, has all the essentials, friendly staff, good food and nice coffee!
Is not dog friendly, but there are benches outside.
Love Dan's in the morning for my coffee... The only place I know that does me a Flattee(flat white/latte) great cake too and good banter
Best regards
Neil
Six of us had cycled around 45 miles and were looking for a café stop. Balgove was queued out, the Guardbridge Antiques place wasn't open, so we popped into Dan's for a takeaway. Coffees, bacon, black pudding etc rolls and Fisher and Donaldson fudge donuts served up by very friendly staff. Braw!
Nice little shop but please note that this ISN'T a post office, despite what Google maps may have you believe.
Great local shop. Immaculately clean. Really friendly staff who are also very helpful. If they don't stock something they will do their utmost to ensure to order it in. Oh and their cakes are from Donaldson & Fisher mmmmmm say no more!!!!
Thanks Dan n staff for being there for our small Guardbridge community.
Lovely place to stop for a hot drink and if a warm day then a slush from new slush machine. Very pleasant staff and it makes it such a nice place to visit not only for the great selection of alcohol but from toiletries to bread, etc. They sell great socks too!☺
