We have enjoyed two fabulous meals at the Three Horse Shoes, Friday night and Sunday lunch, both were delicious and can thoroughly recommend this fabulous pub tucked away in Groesffordd. Only remembered photos of Sunday before we cleared our plates. Dog friendly too
Food was lovely, can’t fault this,
On entry server behind bar with the ponytail did not even acknowledge us, admittedly he was serving but a smile and hello would have been no problem I’m sure.
Had to ask twice for table water and had to ask for a steak knife!
Overall was nice for a special occasion
A perfect balance between fine dining and good hearty food! Very comfortable vibes, cold drinks and food was outstanding. We went here after climbing the Fan and felt well rewarded. Definitely coming back!
The food was simply excellent. I was not expecting to find a place like this in such a remote location. if you're in the area and hungry, just give them a visit

A delightful experience! We arrived here exhausted & cold after a long hike & were sat by a roaring fire. Service was warm, helpful & welcoming from start to finish.
We all had amazing meals too! Complementary fresh bread with whipped marmite butter, anyone? I highly recommend the fish & chips too.
