GIANT MUGS OF TEA! A breakfast as Grindleford cafe is like no other! Massive portions, massive mugs of tea and everything you could want from a full English! The venue is nothing special and could even argue was basic in nature but that’s what makes it so perfect! Just a simple well cooked and heart
Lovely cafe nestled in a great location for going on walks to see stunning scenery. The food was nice and was quickly announced over the tannoy system that our table's food was ready. As well as a cafe, they sell other bits and bobs such as sweets and maps etc. This was a cash only venue, so your
Great spot for a bit to eat whilst walking in the area. We had the chip butties which were huge for the money. Nothing fancy but for great cheap food this is great. Make sure you pay for parking with the ringgo app if parking on the street directly on the hill. Only £2.40 for the day.
Fantastic breakfast and coffee. Vegan breakfast available for £8.50 including tea or coffee!!
Grindleford Station Café is an amazing country café with some great history behind it. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and you'd have thought it was a weekend! Inside and outside seating was rather filled up by bikers, walkers, cyclists, there was even a school trip of young children and their t
Had a visit yesterday, full English was very good. The ladies serving were very welcoming Kirstie who served me had her little daughter gurgling about in a walker which made the atmosphere very homely. Definitely visit again although I bet during the weekend it'll be rammed.
A gem of a cafe in the Peak District. Good hearty food and very reasonable prices. Nice walks on the doorstep too. Well known for their chip butties, and the breakfast is excellent too. Nice to get hot drinks in good sized mugs too.
This cafe is not what you normally come across at a railway station. I have been going here for many many years and in most ways it hasn't changed. It's perfect for walkers and for large groups, children and families. There is indoor and outdoor seating and dogs are welcome. Food isn't fancy but it i
Great helpful staff, thankyou for your service today ( we were the walking group of 13) we came in like a whirl wind and caused a bit of chaos. We only had coffee today but will definitely be back for the lovely breakfast soon!
Great food, great value, great service! My friend spilt salt all over his meal, went to buy a new one, and the staff replaced it free of charge. I've been many times over the years and always have a great time. Truly a special place!
really lovely cafe, the service was amazing as was the food. lots of outdoor and indoor seating with beautiful scenery surrounding. lots of enticingly great walks on its door step. would highly recommend for a day out or a stroll.
Just loved it and the staff were fantastic. Food enormous.
Great place to walk . Great food at the Grindleford station and make you welcome
Lovely food, great staff, clean toilets, dog friendly, we went after lunch to avoid queues, fantastic place to go 😃
Amazing place beautiful surroundings. Didnt eat at the cafe just a drink. But the food coming out for other looked amazing. Walked down the gorge from Padley. We'll worth it.
Really nice cafe, very good value. Let down on our visit today, Sunday 21st August by a large group of motor bikers, swearing loudly, belching, smoking. Was lovely when they left although they didn't leave quietly, revving their engines for minutes then speeding off , just a bad group of people, u
I’ve always been a fan of this little cafe. You get huge, delicious, chip butties at a very reasonable price. I like them so much I’ve never actually ordered anything else! Last time I visited, they had stopped serving food (30 mins before google said they would) but they took pity on my 20000+ step
