First time at this pub. Great experience. Pleasant friendly service. Lunch time menu was comprehensive and well priced. I had a steak and ale pie with chips pea's and gravy. My other half had a small fish and chips with coleslaw. Both meals were served piping hot. The steak in the pie was very tender with no fat... Delicious... My wife commented that her fish was the best she had in any pub. The dessert menu food was tempting but the waistline suggested leaving it for another day....We will be back!

A very nice experience. Pub is a lovely location. Food was cooked lovely and for a Sunday on the day of my visit nice to see you can chose from the whole menu and not just a roast. Pub was clean and staff where welcoming and friendly. Steak was cooked to my liking and cider was nice n cold. Best book in advance as pub was busy. All in all a very good all round experience.
UPDATE: Every visit made now 3 in all have all been great. Superb from start till finish well done to all involved
We were staying in Tetney on holiday and the Crown & Anchor came highly recommended so we decided to pop in for lunch to try for ourselves.
The staff were all very friendly & welcoming and the restaurant area was lovely - both myself & my wife enjoyed our (huge portions!) of food immensely, everything was beautifully fresh & presented... and obviously tasted great - we went away full & very happy!
As the sun decided to shine that day we also had the pleasure of having a drink in their outdoor seating area after we'd eaten too... another tick in the box for sure.
If you're in or around Tetney and fancy some great food, lovely beers & relaxing surrounding - this is the place to go!
Teally nice roast beef dinner. Nicely cooked and good service from Angie and Georgia. Only complaint was broccoli and cauliflower or cabbage would have made it 5 star. Will return and recommended Thank you
Spent a couple of days in area, had such a good meal the first day we went back and ate there again second day too. Very friendly atmosphere, dog friendly and great to have small appetite items on the menu.
Very friendly owners, food was great and lots of it, dog friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Would definitely recommend it.

Went to this place as was visiting family. Could not fault the food or service. Best food we have had for ages. Will definitely be coming back despite the 3 hour journey.
Lovely village pub. 4 choices for veggie mains, which isn't bad at all. Good service, even though it was busy and good value.
Part of a party of 6 and all had fish and chips. Really fresh and tasty. Great service and great food! No space for dessert!
Nice little pub, we stopped here during a bike ride for a pint and a soft drink. The food looked and smelled really good. Will be back to try it at some point!
A cracking pub on our walk from the Humberston Fitties to Tetney.
Home cooked food was very tasty and good portions, too.
If you are up that way, it's well worth a visit.

Fantastic food. Really tasty. Good choice for GF, V and Ve. Only small criticism is that four of the meals were large and sadly the very tasty Chilli and rice was a very small plate full. However would definitely go again. Nice atmosphere and very friendly good service.

A very welcoming place. We stumbled across this pub on a walk. There were 5 of us, we had coffees and lunch. The portions were really generous and we all enjoyed our meals. Lovely coffee too. Will definitely be back!

Great pub with dining. Dog friendly bar where you can have a meal. Reasonably priced and great service. Staff are very welcoming our little pup Monty loves it.
