Visited The Cricketers on a Sunday and was surprised by the size of the pub.
They have a Fuzzy Eds play area for the kids which during my visit was closed.
We ordered food from the bar which came very quickly and tasted amazing! Prices here are also reasonable, I highly recommend getting the app as some good offers become available on certain days.
The only issue we had was the car parking, there appears to be 2 entrances for cars but one of them is only for disabled parking. Better signage needed for this.
Will definitely be returning friendly staff and good quality food.
I took my two sons and three grandchildren the meal was fantastic all of us really enjoyed our time spent at the cricketers. Jess served me and was very professional. Please let her know that we felt at home. The grandchildren loved it. Thank you
Staying in Grimsby for the weekend at the Holiday Inn. Just got back from the Cricketers , misses had gammon I had mix grill. One of the best mix grills I have ever had. Well done all.
Come regularly and today was just as fantastic as always, Sheena was an absolute laugh as always and service was second to none, always feel looked after and always have a laugh. Cheap beer and giggles, what more do you want on a cheeky Saturday afternoon? Also had food and wow, loaded surf n turf was amazing so thank you for that aswell. Will be back anyway but wow what a day
Absolutely worth 5 stars you can’t go wrong with cheap beer and laughs from the minute you walk in to leaving. Always greeted with a smile and banter from Sheena and that’s why I love coming here. Service is always spot on and we get looked after every time we visit. Thank you and obviously we will be back. See you soon lol

My nephew and I came in on Saturday for a lovely mixed grill, with a lovely lady called Sheena serving us, my nephew had bad food allergies, but nothing was too much trouble for her she was fantastic! Left a very full very happy customer!
Unfortunately for us, there were lots of flies. This was a really bad start to our lunch. The flys just kept coming, to the point where we moved tables but they still kept coming near us and our food. Covering our drinks with coasters and our meals with serviettes it wasn’t a pleasant time. The cricketers need to put something in place to stop these pesky flys. Where was the electric zapper? The tables were sticky, the menus were grubby and tables were left a while uncleared. I must say the food was nice, it’s just the cleanliness of the place. The toilets were smelly too.
Very tasty food! The starters and sharers are so good! Very friendly staff!
The manager of this place, a lovely lady named Sheena, is managing this establishment wonderfully. This is the place to go, or get a delivery from, for good old fashioned pub food. Unlike the other places, like Miller and Carter, and The Wheatsheaf Inn, not giving a toss about their customers, The Cricketers is now my go to for delivered takeaway food.
Highly recommended 10/10. One of few decent eateries in Grimsby/

I went in for a quick lunch with my granddaughter today. There was such a good variety of children’s meals and really good value. My granddaughter has allergies and the server Mike checked for allergies and made sure the kitchen were aware too, really put my mind at rest. Food was delicious, hot and great portion sizes. Thanks again Mike.
We havent been to the Cricks for years but decided to try it out Staff were lovely very welcoming and friendly Food was lovely and came out really fast to say how busy it was Manager was very hands on serving clearing tables etc Def be back again soon
