Always a good night out. The service was pretty quick for how busy it was, and the staff were always polite and friendly. The atmosphere has a busy and happy feeling with people enjoying themselves with friends but you are still able to hold a good conversation at your table without having to shout.
Great place, great ambience, great food ( sorry, I started on my Sunday roast, turkey breast, before taking pic as it looked, & smelt fantastic. 3 adults & 2 kids, all with different meals - not one complaint & all plates wiped clean !!!! As a bonus, they take Blue Light & Defence Services Discou
The place is clean and tidy. Staff are pleasant and polite. For the food there is a good choice to select from. Only issues i had was a couple of items I tried to order was not available, thereforeI did without my starter. The desert menu only had 6 options and one of them was unavailable 🙃. The wa
Everything was perfect, only thing we had to do was ask for our tables to put together as we had a party of 8 and party of 4 but they made it easier by just moving us as wasn't a lot of room in the corner so was really simple and easy. Food was good and quick. Service was good and quick too. More of
We took my mother in law to the wheatsheaf for her birthday. We've eaten there a few times. Love the cosy decor & food. After a while deciding for 5 of us I went to order & was told a fryer was broke so certain things were unavailable. Including the onion rings that are on most dishes... I'm not o
Went in on a Saturday, such a great atmosphere. Staff were super friendly and quick taking orders. Lots of young new staff who were learning but did a great job overall. The food was amazing it took a while to turn up but when it did it was totally worth it, would definitely recommend the French di
Fantastic busy pub, really good food and great selection of beers and wines, lovely staff, George and the team well done 👏👏👏
We arrived at the end of service. Thankfully the team were amazing and although some of the equipment had been turned off they turned them back on to serve us. The food was delicious and well presented. We chose the takeaway option they offer. While waiting for our food to be prepared they were host
Food was really nice. Only 1 staff serving so had long wait to order. Price average but would of gone later if known they have daytime and separate evening menu
I had fish and chips which was lovely and my daughter had the lasagna and really enjoyed it. Waitress Milly was very friendly and attentive and Bartender George was helpful in regards to paying with discount codes. Would visit again!
Once the noisy table in the corner had gone the atmosphere was lovely, really relaxed. The bar staff were lovely, pleasant and very helpful. The place was tidy and clean, the toilets were clean too.
Part of the Ember Inns group. Good wholesome fare served here. Order at the bar or order at your table. This place is clean, friendly and never packed so getting food promptly or drink is no issue . Carpark on site, and facilities to eat outside should you wish. I like it
Popped in for a quick drink, stayed for a couple, but did not eat, I will in future. The first impressions were very good. Well set out and spacious gaps between tables, which is always nice to see rather than feeling too many tables being squeezed in.
Took my children yesterday tea time, lovely food, friendly staff. Erica served us our food and was very helpful and polite.
