Don't let the exterior of the hotel put you off. Rooms are to a good standard. Evening meal and breakfast of a good quality. Service friendly and efficient. Will visit again if in area.
Well..... I was shocked at first by the outside of the hotel. Not going lie, looked run down, dull and I even thought about not checking in. BUT.... INSIDE was good, staff were nice, helpful and polite. Room was clean and modern enough. We had food from the restaurant which was nice. We has it in our room. Only thing is that we fetched it as they wanted 5 pound charge for delivery. We were only seconds away on 2nd floor so bit disappointed by this as we were supporting there business. Breakfast was good. Again. Service and food was good.
On arrival the Hotel looked like a prison, and the signage was so weather worn it was difficult to identify this building as a Hotel.
We sat in the car on entering the car park for a few minutes before deciding to take a leap of faith.
Internally, WOW, clean, well decorated and pleasant staff.
The rooms were also well decorated, clean and stocked with tea and coffee.
The food was excellent, although the portions were far too generous.
The large portions carried through to breakfast, which was enough to feed an army.
The overnight stay was brilliant, you should never judge a book by its cover.
For a relaxing and quiet out of town exploration, Local and international tourists I highly recommend this place, it’s value for money.
Ignore all the negative reviews out there and just go for your instinct.? Externally not appealing, internally The hotel is 3star but five star quality in terms of their services:

The hotel looks awful outside however inside was pretty decent. Room was nice, it's very clean, fluffy towels and the staff were exceptional. Very good, super polite and helpful. I actually really enjoyed my stay and will miss my English breakfast....which was great.
It doesn't look the best from the outside but the rooms are fine inside. The noise from the workers on the golf course woke me at 5am but that's not the hotels fault. Staff were friendly as well

Food was excellent, service was great nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Friendly bar staff . Breakfast was really good. Room was very clean with everything you could need overlooking the golf course

Perfect location for us to visit family. Hotel doesn't look inviting from outside but once inside it's nicely decorated and the staff were welcoming and helpful.
Very strange facade, needs a pitch roof putting on, or something to take the starkness away. Very nice and welcoming once you are inside 👍. Would definitely re visit 👍
Bar staff at my daughters wedding was very friendly ,room was lovely had a very enjoyable day thank you for making my daughter and son in laws day exceptional.

We stayed here for for a pit stop,the staff were very nice and friendly,the hotel was lovely and warm
Our room was ready 2 hours before the check-in time which was very much appreciated
We booked a room with a balcony which was lovely just a shame we couldn't smoke on it
The room was big,very warm and clean But we did find two denim shirts underneath the mattress left behind by previous guests ( my guess is the wife hid them from the husband cause she didn't like them cause I'd have done the same,if i had a husband lol) lovely big bed,quite comfy but let down by the pillows,they were too hard.
The bathroom was lovely and clean,maybe just need to pay more attention to the bottom of the shower curtain which was a little black and grotty along the bottom ( nothing the washing machine won't sort out)

Nice enough and competitively priced. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of amenities. Staff were great.
Went for an afternoon tea dance .lovely hotel, brilliant and attentive staff , great food .

I went for a blood donor session so only saw the public areas but all staff were helpful and the areas I visited were immaculate.
Very friendly staff. Stayed here several times to attend functions. Food good.
First time disappointed with room, this being just one thing. I stepped on several peanuts on the carpet which was difficult yo see because of the patterned carpet, one or two I didn't think anything of but I must have binned at least a dozen. Normally i would have asked for it to be vacuumed but staff were very busy. This won't deter us from staying here again.
