Friendly local pub with space for both sit down meals on one side and a place to sit in front of the fire for a few drinks.
I visited the Swan today with family, we booked a table for eight in the newly renovated Swan.
The table was perfect, in the old cellar and had plenty of room for the family, buggy and little ones.
Service was exceptional by every member of staff and the food was absolutely wonderful.
We were not rushed and had all the time in the world. The team also helped with pieces to help feed my little man.
A wonderful visit which was only made possible by a wonderful dedicated team in high quality premises.
The refurb is high quality and really warm and cozy. I would recommend a couple of “mind your head signs” 😊
Thank you so much, highly recommended for great food, great service and a great place.
Five stars for you ✨

Great refurb. Bright white paint and quirky seating. Been for several drinks of an evening. Menu looks good, changes on a regular basis. Will be sampling that shortly. Only hearing good things so far. Tiny downside so far, could do with a light on or under the front door porch, looks a bit dark and unwelcoming. Also Bose music system is great, but WiFi is patchy so it keeps cutting out. Lovely to see such a sympathetic refurbishment of a very old pub
Always a lovely experience coming here, the staff are very attentive and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and very tasty. A lot of care goes into the cooking here. The area is lovely and would recommend anyone to go here.
Nice clean renovation but would say it needs some wall art and nick knacks to finish it off. Maybe an old Chesterfield sofa in front of the fire with a low table for Sunday lounging? Food was good and reasonably priced. Only bad point was that beer was off and when told the barman remarked that “yes, it was on its way out last night”. Never something a beer drinker wants to hear.....
Very nice pub. Cycled 15 minutes from Marsh Gibbon. Very friendly staff and welcoming. Only had drinks so can't comment on the food. Will definitely go back
Lovely meal at the Swan last night. Food couldn’t be faulted, lovely buzzing atmosphere in the bar and Arek and Charlie the perfect hosts. All Covid restrictions in place, but felt unobtrusive.
Nice village pub, although a little pricey. I'm sure the locals can easily afford it. I will visit again, when I'm passing through. 🍻
New landlord and much more of a traditional village pub. Real Ale is back on tap and food is now what you would expect of a pub in this type of area. Both beer and food excellent quality and very well priced. I'm looking forward to spending more time there
A lovely village pub environment with great customer service and amazing food. The Swan team is always exceeding our expectations. 100% recommend them
