Although we had to pick a second choice as they had been really busy we were not disappointed , best chicken burger I’ve had and Toms blue catfish tacos were amazing and I managed to get a piece off him and it’s was really tasty x��
Chilli Pork burger outstanding. Mongolian Steak burger 100%! Great services, great prices, cracking couple who make a great team. Fresh food and unique combinations. Highly recommend.
Would rate this 10 stars if I could. Everything I get from here is amazing ! My personal recommendation would be the hong kong style chicken burger with stornaway pudding, chilli cheese and southwest sauce ! Thank me later.

Stopped in at Jax Snax today and it did not disappoint. Spoiled for choice as there are tasters available before you buy. I went for the Goat burger and It was amazing, what makes it even better is that the meat is low if fat �. Definitely worth a visit!! �
We had the oriental chicken burger and Welsh haggis steak burger. Soooooo good!! Served up on a tiger bread roll with applewood smoked cheese and homemade southwest sauce � can't recommend it enough!
Beautiful fresh and exotic food cooked to perfection, definitely recommend the chicken po-boy and Vietnamese Pho with beef - absolutely unreal!
Ate there today for the first time having read all the fabulous reviews. Food was brilliant. Menu very different from any other burger van I've been to. My son had a burger which we knew would be fantastic as it was a quality burger from Alexander's the butchers. Highly recommend giving this place a try

Came here yesterday and cannot stop raving about it! The squid and shrimp tacos were absolutely amazing!! The fact that the food is fresh really makes a difference. The staff here could not be nicer and make a real effort with their customers which I believe is very important. Cannot wait to come back and try more!
I had a handmade steak burger with Welch haggis yesterday and it was the best burger in Scotland as Far as I am concerned
First dabble with Jax - superb. Really great food made with proper foodie passion. Great to see such a fantastic concept thriving in Greenock. Lotsa love from me and all of Team WEST.
Get there quick, brisket sold out by 2pm when we went. No complaints here though! Fried Chicken n' slaw was to die for, shrimp n' squid soft tacos out of this world! Will be back early next time to get my hands on the brisket!
I had unexpected free time this week, so today I took a trip to the best foodtruck in the west. Fellow award winning Jax Snax at The Marina and boy the trip was worth it!

Best food van in Inverclyde by a long shot! Been going for years as a treat to myself on the weekend! Tried almost everything on the menu. Everything is good, you will have no complaints! Just great food made made by amazing people.
I’ve been going to Jax Snax for years and I’ve never been disappointed! Today I got a Malaysian Combo Curry, a Cajun Blue Catfish Po Boy and salt & chilli chips. I’m not usually a fan of beef in curry, but the combo at Jax Snax is an exception! The beef was so tender and melted in my mouth. Likewise, I took a risk ordering Catfish for the first time, but it paid off! It was absolutely amazing. Gary and Jax are brilliant and provide top service always! I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Delicious salt pepper squid and shrimp tacos! Reasonable prices and plenty of options. Burgers, seafood curry, chicken gyoza and more. The food is super fresh and tasty.

This is a real treat when we pop to Jax Snax bar, we have to get there early before they sell out.
The food is so fresh, cooked as you wait, the sauces are full of flavour and really tangle the tastebuds.
As for the price, we are full to the brim when we finish our meals the portions are so generous.
Highly recommend a visit the food is lush and so different for a snack bar :-)

We've been to Jax Snax three times now and each time it's been brilliant. The food cantina is based at James Watt Dock marina and it's the perfect place for it to be a hidden gem. Open afternoons Thursday to Sunday, I figure a lot of their business must come from word of mouth, as the queue is engaged with, with how quickly food is made. There's something special about Jax Snax and we've been there on days when the queue has been heaving and days when it's not so much but each time the wait has been worth it as I believe quality takes time. The last time we visited I had a Louisiana style fried chicken and shrimp po'boy with a side order of brisket topped chips. Wonderful. Scoffing all that flavoursome food down whilst sitting on old steel cable or rope roll coils that act as great seating and picnic tables whilst being surrounded by all the yachts in the marina is very chill but also awesome. Understandably, with being a cantina one thing to watch out for is if the weather turns but with such good food and service, I'd be willing to battle the elements for some tasty grub from Jax Snax any time.

Outstanding, perfectly cooked. My only wish if you asked would be to stay open later, maybe til 6 so we could make it after work.. but they're still above & beyond worth taking every chance to make it on the weekends.
Lives up to the hype! Shrimp and chicken poboy was insane, as was the salt and chilli chicken smash burger. Hake pakora was next level delicious! You have to try it
