Visited this cafe today, not too busy for a Sunday. 😊 Staff are friendly, energetic and enthusiastic. Nice selection of foods for morning and lunch time breaks. The young men collecting the plates and dirty dishes should be complimented for the quickness and efficiency of cleaning. John Lewis is catered for families and all ages. Great service, tasty food and lovely atmosphere. We’ve been here many times. Team is friendly, attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble. Lady who served us today (so sorry forgot her name) was super helpful. I did pass on my thanks to manager Mel. Great choice for vegans and vegetarians. Love
Decent place to have a morning coffee or tea but wide open and brightly lit so not a particularly nice atmosphere. Not bad either - just a bit bland! Rather expensive (over £11 for tea for two and two slice of cake.)
Stopped by for a coffee and cake with my family. Apart from the red velvet cake, all the cakes we tried were delicious. You can also have a hot meal if you feel to. The restaurant is not fussy, but its light and airy, and very clean. It has very competitive pricing and may be a money saver comp

Enjoyed a hot meal here with my wife - Fish and chips. The fish was freshly cooked with crispy batter abd served with chunky chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. It was enjoyable. Staff were polite and helpful despite a mishap around the till area when a glass was accidentally broken. Staff cope

This is exactly what you would expect from John Lewis. Good quality food at a suitable price. I had coffee and cake, both of which were great. It was very clean and tidy and the staff very polite. In summary it was up to the standard you would want and expect from this retailer
