The Horsenden Loaf is the perfect pit stop before or after a meandering walk through the woodlands of Horsenden Hill and along the Grand Union Canal. Delicious doughnuts, brownies and cakes coupled with plenty of mouthwatering savoury options from sausage rolls to slices. Excellent coffee with oat milk available as well. Then pick up one of their sourdoughs to take home with you. Ample parking at Horsenden Farm, and right by where the Gruffalo Trail starts for little ones. Plus Perivale Brewery just behind for sunny afternoons spent sipping on pints in their courtyard.

A little trailer at Horsenden Hill Farm (Gruffulo Trail) with really nice coffee & very tasty breads. It meant we could but something, then go for a good walk.

Rustic farm produce and bakery in the natural setting of Horsenden Hill Farm. Limited opening hours so plan carefully as it sells out quickly!

I had a cheese & potato roll / pastie and it was DELICIOUS! Made even better by still being warm (and served by friendly people). Definitely recommend a stop in if you're able to. Sweets look divine too

The Horsenden Loaf makes by hand, employing traditional techniques, artisan baked goods using an authentic wood-fired and open air oven set in the vegetable garden and orchard of Horsenden Hill Farm. The taste of this bread and these baked goods, ranging from gluten-free almond cakes to a variety of sourdough and flat breads and other delights, is exceptional in my opinion. It is very hard, in my experience, to find bread, sweet treats and cakes of this high quality. All of this is offered for sale direct to us, a step or two from the free-of-charge Horsenden Hill Farm car park, by dedicated people who rise early to make it that morning with fine ingredients and without cutting corners. This is true Slow Food to discover, relish and support!
