It's nice being able to have vietnamese food at 1am. The spring rolls were crispy and delicious. The beef bun was good, but I wish it had some more leafy veg and a pork option. Banh mi was decent, but definitely needed some more moisture. Service was nice and quick. A great place to go if you want a quick bite before/after going out.

I went here with my mum. I'd not had Vietnamese before, and this was brilliant. The host was very nice and moved our table when my mum complained about the noise where we were being seated. She also talked us through the menu to help us get the best experience. We had vegan mango salad, salt and pepper squid, tofu bun sa, and steak & flank pho. The vegan mango salad was delicious and beautifully presented. The salt and pepper squid was my favourite dish, it was excellently made and very tasty. The pho was great, it had a much more subtle and mellow flavour than the pepper squid. Definitely recommend trying! The only thing I would say is the place is a bit noisy, with a vent humming in the dining area and quite loud music playing outside when we went.

Easily the best vietnamese restaurant in London. The pho is delicious, the owner is lovely and the staff are very kind too. Most of the menu is halal! All the ingredients taste fresh and the beef is super tender. 10/10 recommend, worth a visit!!!

Went after a boozy night and this, unlike a kebab, was a healthy yet delicious meal that I didn’t regret the next day. The banh mi could have had more sauce so that it was less dry but the spring rolls were amazing - I could eat them all day. Cosy, cute, hidden little spot.

Though this restaurant is away from the community of other Vietnamese restaurants in Hoxton, it definitely stands out for all the right reasons. The first thing noticed is how well the venue is decorated, before you start to experience the great service. The food is extremely well made, with very fresh produce and amazing cuts of beef in my pho. I'd happily return to try more from the menu and would dare to bring my Vietnamese friend here also. In the words of Outkast, "So fresh and so clean"!

Lovely Vietnamese restaurant with an extensive menu of authentic dishes. It was really difficult to decide what to get as everything seemed appealing. In the end I went for the phở bò tái (rare beef noodle soup), which was lovely. I appreciated that they served a generous amount of toppings and garnishes as I love my phở with mint, coriander, bean sprouts and fresh red chilli. It was a very generous portion and I really enjoyed it. My partner went for the 1/4 duck pancakes which she also really liked. Friendly service too so I would happily come back here for more delicious food. Cảm ơn Hương Việt và hẹn gặp lại 😎

i feel like i've walked past huong viet about one million times on curtain road and i've always been drawn in by their bright bahn mi sign. we went for the crispy combo (sesame prawn toast, chicken satay skewers, spring rolls & salt and pepper squid), prawn fried rice and a half duck pancakes! the food was pretty rapid and incredibly tasty. thought the crispy combo was such a perfect starter with all my fave bits. prawn toast particularly good. prawn fried rice was a v good portion and the duck was dreamy. will deffo be coming back!

Visited this restaurant on Monday for a late lunch early tea. The food was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of the stuff I have posted bellow but highly recommend. The soft crab was one of the best things I have ever tasted. The staff were so lovely and friendly. One of our party has coeliac and they catered fully for his needs. Going out there way to change recipes to make them gluten free for him. I did not take a photo of the mango lassi but that was unbelievably good. 10/10 very responsibly priced. Would 100% come back to the restaurant

This place is perfect for a laid back, no frills, affordable dinner where you're not struggling to hear your friend over loud music. The food is quick and delicious. I've had both dine in and takeaway - don't sleep on the takeaway banh mi! It's packed full of flavor.

Best Banh Mi in London. But beware if you ask for spicy, their chilli is HOT.

The chicken and beef is halal. I had confirmation that the pho is definitely worth it. First time eating Vietnamese food and thoroughly enjoyed.

Stopped by to try out their new offering of banh mi baguettes. Also picked up a portion of summer rolls. All of the food was amazing! Definitely recommend. The summer rolls were 2 per portion however they were rather chunky with at least 3 big prawns in each so I was happy with the amount 🥰

Hidden gem alert! A quick google of “best pho in London” will pull up the usual suspects just like what you’ll find on Eater, Infatuation, etc… but NONE of those lists will pull up Huong Viet! They are all mistaken, but you’re in luck if you’ve stumbled on this review. The beef/chicken broth pho (Hanoi style) is some of the best pho I’ve had anywhere…let alone in London. The noodles are perfect and the “bo dac biet” (i.e. Combo Style) is loaded with tendon and tripe for crazy people like me who love that kind of stuff. We also got the pork belly banh mi and the spring rolls, all of which were very good. The owner is from Huy Fong, which is where Sriracha founder David Tran was born. Her pho recipe is from her grandma, and she has nailed it. Don’t miss this spot if you’re craving pho near Shoreditch. I’ll absolutely be going back for another bowl before the week is up!

Amazing food, been coming here over the past year and the standard of food has been very consistent. The pho and crispy prawn noodles are out of this world. Good service, friendly staff, good music too. Would recommend for everyone wanting to try out Vietnamese cuisine!

Really good pho. Tastewise it is on the blander side, but it had good noodles and toppings. I recommend the combo beef pho and crispy combo (the prawn toast was delicious! )

I wanted to try Vietnamese food pho (fur) in particular. Huong Viet has halal options as the beef and chicken is halal (the owner is a Muslim). I had the steak flank with king prawn pho the prawns were cooked al dente. The beef strips were very flavoursome. The broth was aromatic, clear and smooth with the right amount of seasoning and spices. The pho noodles were also cooked right. The dish tasted delicious. I washed it down with a refreshing ginger and mint tea. I would definitely recommend people to visit this restaurant. I was served by a lady named Vicky who was attentive and friendly, making good suggestions and had excellent knowledge of the produce.
