Cafe was cosy and beautiful, and food was fabulous - delicious juicy burger and exciting green smoothie! But the capstone of the experience was the attentive kindness of the service - my friend asked for BBQ sauce and was provided one, after our server popped outside and bought one specially! Thank you so much to the Backstage Islington Cafe for a wonderful Sunday brunch.
Had lunch at Backstage in Highbury. It was delicious! I had Eggs Benedict - good portion, well presented - really enjoyed it. My friend also enjoyed hers as well (Eggs Royale). Friendly/attentive owners, wonderful setting, around 1pm you get some sunshine (when it’s sunny) into the cafe, it’s beautiful. Will be back there for coffee and cake next time!
My sisters & I met up at Backstage cafe. We had coffee & felt so comfortable that we stayed for lunch! The staff were welcoming, we enjoyed the coffee & food and it was good value for money.
Turkish breakfast was good, service friendly and welcoming, great location and close to Highbury corner.
Relaxed place to meet friends on a Sunday afternoon. Will go again.

Got two takeaway coffees from here on a very windy day at the weekend. Made the mistake of putting them down to take my mask off and the wind took them, spilling them all over me and the floor! Went back to buy two more and the guy working there gave them to me for free :) Really turned my day around. Thank you!
