Booked for a Friday lunchtime, restaurant was extremely quiet and was there just after midday. Arrived and the owner was in the entrance and gave us a warm welcome and was pleased when I mentioned I'd seen him on television recently, which had made me want to visit following the review. Staff were welcoming and during the meal I noted how upbeat they all were and working well as part of a team. There were two people in my dining group. Ordered the chicken wings to share, a chilli dog and chilli cheeseburger. Food arrived in good time and the owner came to explain the cooking process for the wings, and then to check in with us during the meal, which I felt was a very personal touch. Wings were excellent, food was very good. Would like to try other items on the menu on the next visit. Overall, an enjoyable experience and would visit again.

I came to Prairie Fire on last Saturday for planned and eagerly anticipated mid-afternoon lunch. I ordered the KC Classic (brisket in a soft roll with BBQ sauce), onion rings and half a pint of London Black Porter. Brisket was delicious on its own - so soft it was melting in my mouth and very flavoursome; onion rings were crispy, generous in size and served with some sort of spicy creamy dip which was complementing them perfectly. And beer tasted heavenly after a long thirsty stroll. Food and drink was served promptly, staff was accommodating and easy-going. I was extremely pleased with this visit and can't wait to come back and sample other dishes and beers (not even a beer aficionado). Thank you for your hospitality.

We tried the Cowtown sandwiches (brisket, bbq sauce, molten cheese, pickled jalapeños and an onion ring), a side of tater tots and half a pint of lager. The brisket was a generous portion and a nice size. Our total bill for two was just over £50.

Best burgers in the area. I have been looking for a good burger for a while until I found Prairie Fire. The sweet potato chips also deserve a special mention. Highly recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Prairie Fire at The Wood Lane Arches, a hidden gem nestled in the vibrant White City near Westfield London. This dining experience took me on a nostalgic journey back to my visit to Kansas City in the United States. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The first thing that caught my eye was the impeccable decor. Prairie Fire has beautifully captured the essence of what the restaurant is all about. The rustic and cosy ambience instantly transported me to a traditional American barbecue joint. The combination of warm lighting, wooden accents, and a welcoming atmosphere created the perfect setting for a memorable evening. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. I can't emphasize enough how awesome the culinary delights at Prairie Fire are. We decided to sample a selection of dishes, and each one was more exceptional than the last. The flavours, presentation, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. The chefs at Prairie Fire have perfected their craft, ensuring that every dish served is a masterpiece. I managed to capture a few snapshots of the mouthwatering food before it was devoured by our eager group. The pictures alone are enough to make your taste buds tingle with anticipation. However, the real magic lies in the taste. The dishes we savoured were bursting with authentic flavours, and it was evident that high-quality ingredients were used. From the tender and juicy smoked meats to the perfectly balanced sides and sauces, every bite was a delightful explosion of flavours. To complement the fantastic food, Prairie Fire offers a vast selection of beers and drinks. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or prefer classic cocktails, their beverage menu has something for everyone. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate, making excellent recommendations to enhance your dining experience. The overall service at Prairie Fire was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and well-informed about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable time. The passion and dedication of the team were evident in every interaction. In conclusion, if you're looking for an extraordinary dining experience that will transport you to the heart of Kansas City, Prairie Fire at The Wood Lane Arches is a must-visit. The combination of outstanding food, captivating decor, and friendly service create an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of the tantalizing dishes this hidden gem has to offer. Don't miss out on this culinary treasure in the bustling city of London!

Hearty and authentic Kansas BBQ, good for sharing as large groups (4+) or satisfying urges for a meaty burger or bbq bun. The headline is: the food is great. The meat is tender, well seasoned and very tasty. There are a number of sharing platters available that suit groups, and include a choice of non-meat sides such as mac'n'cheese / tater tots / onion rings / sweet potato fries that are good filler and accompanied by delicious dipping sauces. I also enjoyed a Cow Town BBQ bun; tender brisket covered with rich cheese and lettuce. This was presented well and filling in its own right, but it tasted great and better than many burger offerings that I can find in London. The drinks choice is also great. There are 16 very varied and interesting craft beers / ciders on tap, and other drinks available on choice. (The Seacider Passion Fruit and Goodness Yes IPA are highly recommended). The decor is simple but well arranged for hosting groups, with the flexibility to move tables to accommodate for size. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing recommendations and advice, and the bartender / owner was a real gem, taking interest in our group and providing us with margheritas on the house to help lubricate our Friday night! I would note, this place isn't cheap. We spend c. £40 per head for sharing platters with sides, loaded fries, one burger for me, and 2 pints each. We were filled and very satisfied, for sure, but it's not somewhere for cheap and easy (FYI - burgers are ~£10 excluding sides or drinks, and 12.5% tip is included to bills as standard).

We had to look for this a while but it was so worth it! The burgers were amazing but most importantly the Jalapeño Wontons were incredible! They’re definitely a must try and I’d go back just for this. We also ordered the signature cheeseburger, chili cheeseburger, and seasoned fries. The service time was surprisingly short and we also did not have to wait at all to find a table. The burgers were tasty and juicy. It’s not super cheap - but it’s worth it to go for if you’re fancying a good burger every once in a while!

Randomly booked this for a dinner and was really impressed. Food was amazing and full of flavour. Will definitely be booking again! So I’ve edited this review to add more pics and also that since I first visited, I’ve been back at least 10 times, I just can’t get enough.

Found by accident. If you're fed up of Westfield and need a break and like your beers, this is the place. It's basically right by the TV centre entrance of the shopping centre under the railway arches. Really friendly bar staff and a nice range of well-kept craft beers. Comfortable seating. The bartenders also paid attention to what sort of beers you liked and were happy to give out tasters table side when they were free (without being asked) I really liked this, especially as unlike other places - there was no pressure to actually buy what they gave you to try. I saw some of the food come being served, and it looked fantastic, so I will certainly return in the future to try the restaurant side out.

Very good and friendly staff, very patient and helpful. I ordered the brisket burger and the buns were incredible, the sauce was pretty decent though I don’t like BBQ sauce, and the tater tots were crispy, and the sauce that came with it was very delicious. It was flavorful, however, the brisket was a bit dry. The restaurant it self was gorgeous, though there was water leaking from the ceiling from where I was sitting. Overall, would recommend.

Really enjoyed our time at the Prairie Fire BBQ. The food was really good , the craft beers delightful and the service really good and it was reasonably priced too. We had chicken wings and jalopeno Rangoon followed by the PFQ signature burger and cow sow with fries. At the end we were given a margarita taster it was a little too sweet and syrupy for me but a nice touch. What was also nice was that the owner came over to ask how our meal was too. We would definitely visit again.

Love Prairie Fire! Recently booked in for a family birthday celebration lunch. We are a large family and Margaux and her team were so accommodating and served up amazing food and great vibes with the customer service. We had everything from toddlers, meat lovers, vegetarians and plates were empty all around. Location is also perfect as the little ones loved the playground! Will definitely recommend and will be back.

Great food and perfect service (attentive and friendly staff). I'm a veggie, but the nachos and tater tots were great, and those eating meat from my group were very satisfied. My wife had the buttermilk chicken sandwich with sweet pot fries and said it was yummy! Everyone also enjoyed the frozen magaritas and espresso martinis, a nice addition to the drinks menu. The location is also lovely, has a small playground for the kiddies just outside, and right next to Westfield shopping centre if you fancy a wander after to walk off the grub.
