To say I love this place is an understatement. Since finding them maybe less than a year ago I have been back/ordered takeaway an embarrassing amount of times! Been in groups and couples, great atmosphere every single day of the week. Amazing food, great beer/cocktails, fun menu and really nice staff! Literally can’t get enough! Everyone I bring loves it.

Sensational! Went for a Sunday roast and was not disappointed. Had beef shin croquettes for start as well as smoked chicken wings with blue cheese mayo which were both delicious. For main we both had top rump beef, cooked perfectly and the greens, veggies, gravy and Yorkshire were amazing too. We shared a bottle of tempranillo, plenty of other great wines on offer though. Definitely recommend for Sunday roasts!

Clean and tidy, The Leytonstone Tavern feels more restaurant than pub but that is what it is. A fine welcome and good service from behind the bar. There are potentially eight keg beers available, not the mainstream brands but very serviceable, at least the one I tried. No cask ales unless they have some bottled versions tucked away. Lovely people but not very pubby. A pleasant pint was enjoyed.

Went to taco Tuesday. Got a burger. Regretted it. Bone marrow burger was too decadent for a Tuesday. Had to swap with my mate. Realised I don’t like bone marrow. It was a large boney bone. Also got tacos. Quite delicious. Corn tortillas which make it feel like Mexico. Good music and vibes

lucky to have found this Gem. Amazingly good food! the chips were so good once tried they were obliterated, so no photo😊 Enjoyed a mariachi, a fab locally brewed mexican style larger. Would highly recommend.

Hands down the best burger I’ve had in London if not ever. Went for the Bone Daddy and it did not disappoint. The bone marrow and braised brisket were so good. Will definitely be going back

Have been here before for a roast (which was great) but this time tried their smashed burgers. They were delicious! My burger wasn’t as pink as my twins (Shane) but still very tasty. I ordered the joe exotic which I did love but I didn’t taste any scotch bonnet chilli jam which is what I was excited about! Would deffo recommend a try!

Finally got around to going here to try the famous Bone Daddy burger and it was very good. First time trying bone marrow and the flavour was immense. Wasn't a massive fan of the texture but that's a personal thing (also it was kind of like three textures in one, quite odd and not what I was expecting). But again, the flavours were excellent. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. It feels a tad overpriced. But I'd eat there again. Oh, and the toilets are very dimly lit, really quite dark - which was weird. But overall, highly recommended.

The Leytonstone Tavern was a wonderful venue for our friend's birthday celebration. The atmosphere was very warm and buzzy, the staff were friendly and fantastic, the food was delicious (the smashed burger was one of the best I've had in recent times, and by God the sticky toffee pudding - next level scrumptious). Then, to top it all off, the lovely staff made a fantastic presentation with dessert and candles, leading us all to sing Happy Birthday. A job fantastically done!! And clean, spacious and comfortable loos!! An excellent pub, highly recommended in all respects - I look forward to returning again soon.

Really nice pub with a good selection of craft beers. We had the cheese burger (with bacon) and it was one of the best I've had in a while. Our waitress was really cool too and provided great service.

Where do I start?…. The BURGERS ARE AMAZING!! If you want a quality gourmet burger GO THERE! If you’ve been to burger and beyond, this place is up there with it if not better! Absolutely delicious! Make sure you get the topped tater tots with your burger and be prepared to be full when you leave. Cocktails are amazing, prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly and professional, excellent service! I believe you can also hire out their function room for events too. :-)

What a fantastic experience in this tavern! Didn’t know there is a hidden gem around east London, Leytonstone to experience such amazing Sunday roast. The place is very spacious and clearly recommended that you book a table to get the seating. Lots of good selection of the roast, I went with lamb and pork. They were absolutely fabulous. Meat was juicy and succulent and the pork crackling was just superb! Portions were huge and I loved it very much. The cauliflower cheese is a must to order, very rich in cheesy flavour and cooked to perfection. I would recommend people to come here if you want a great roast on a Sunday for lunch.

I’ve eaten at the tavern on a number of occasions, including burgers and beers on a weeknight. The burgers are terrific - in my top 5 ever. Great, well-kept beer. Today they hosted more than 20 of us for Sunday lunch after my son’s baptism. They handled the big party, children and attendant low-level chaos with aplomb. The email communication beforehand was swift and clear. On the day the food and service were excellent and the staff universally lovely. I recommend the pub unreservedly - a terrific local place, whatever you need from them.

Very cost and friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place you can bring your friends for a night of drinking, with great food as well. Burgers were AMAZING. The Thursday £14.50 deal is a decent one too. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn't get all their names, but Maria was on the top of our receipt.

Incredible Sunday lunch! Expect it to be busy, expect to wait for the food, but it is definitely worth it! Also don't expect a quiet romantic environment. It is busy and loud. The portions are large, everything tasted amazing. We did wait about 40 mins for the food to arrive, it just left me carving it more. Get the cauliflower cheese.

We visited this pub for the first time last weekend despite living fairly local. The busy but not crowded atmosphere was very nice. The wait for the food was a bit longer than expected but it was Sunday. So we didn't think too much of it. My vegan Sunday roast was delicious. I got excited by the lovely looking veg straight away 🥰. Thank you! We will be back
