I had SUCH a lovely time at Middleton Deli in the heart of Brockley. The music was exquisite but the service was better. 2 lovely tall brown ladies by the names of, I believe, Ellie and Rome, were beyond helpful and attentive. Excellent cafe. I’ve visited a few times now, and found it a great experience. Location on street is very cultural. Owners came across well to me: warm, helpful. Young Polish man working there is very on it. Revisited on 30 August 23: Coffee still excellent, Tarte aux Citron/Chocolat great also.
Mellow atmosphere, delicious food and full of natural light. Great place to work from and even better place to have a coffee and a catch up!
Lovely breakfast/lunch. Very tasty food, well presented. Quick, friendly service and nice, relaxed atmosphere. Mix of home-workers, mums and locals.
A really great cafe! I’ve been waiting for one like this in the area for a while. Delicious salads, great coffees and superb breakfasts. Highly recommend.
Some constructive criticism:
- Would be nice if it had WiFi
- Should have mustard
- MUST have brown sauce
Saw this nice looking new café in Brockley/Lewisham and thought we had to try it out. Cozy and modern interior and inviting to stay. We got a bit of a shock though when we saw that we paid £13.78 for a latte, an americano and two pieces of cake (one chocolate and one carrot). Thankfully the coffees
Love this place although I do prefer the quality of the food when eating in to the take away. Lovely staff, nice family friendly ambiance, small and intimate setting with outside seating, fresh meals, a variety of mouthwatering salads. Suitable for vegans, vegetarians as well as everytarians.
