I recently dined at Yen burger, and it was an amazing experience. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The food was exceptional, featuring innovative and fresh dishes. The ambiance was cozy and elegant. Overall, yen burger is a must-visit for fine dining enthusiasts. I can’t wait to go back!
Although we turned up a little earlier than what we had booked, we were looked after from the word go.
We had a fantastic family reunion at Yen Burger. The food was great and the service was even betterer .
A hidden gem and everything was absolutely fantastic! Food came out fast. Burgers with bao buns was delicious. The sides was excellent - mango sauce that came with halloumi sticks was different and tasty. Glad we stumbled across this gem of a place.
I was also impressed with how good the downstairs seating area smelt only to discover they have a Sensamist machine which lets out a nice fragrance.
I cannot praise Yen Burger enough for being an absolute delight! This little gem, discovered during our stroll around London Bridge, is a must-visit for Pan Asian Fusion food enthusiasts. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service.
The Bao buns at Yen Burger were an absolute highlight. Soft, pillowy, and bursting with flavor, they truly melted in our mouths. The Yen Supreme, a wagyu beef Bao Bun Burger, was a true standout. The premium quality of the wagyu beef combined with the delightful fusion of Asian flavors made it a memorable culinary experience.
In addition to the mouthwatering burgers, we also savored the dashi chips, a unique twist on traditional fries, were wonderfully seasoned with “red-salt” or “Chip Spice” as it is known from where I am from.
Aside from the exceptional food, the front of house of Yen Burger deserve special recognition. Their kindness and welcoming nature elevated our dining experience. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service left a lasting impression.
In conclusion, Yen Burger near Borough Market and London Bridge is an absolute treasure. From the delectable Bao buns to the perfectly executed burgers and sides, every bite is a celebration of Pan Asian flavors. Combine that with the warm hospitality of the owners, and you have a recipe for an unforgettable dining experience. I am already looking forward to my next trip to London, just to have another exceptional meal at Yen Burger.
To start it off, book a reservation. They don't accept walk-ins. This place is Halal. The Staff was very friendly and showed great hospitality. One burger won't be filling, so please get either 2 burgers or get sides/starters as well. The taste was amazing. They offer free Ketchup, Mustard and Mayonnaise unlimited.
Friendly staff, good food and nice atmosphere. The gyozas were very good and both of the burgers were very tasty even tho the chicken one was a bit dry, I would definitely repeat. The spicy chicken wings and the sweet potato fries were one of my favourite things. If you have the possibility to go and try their food, do it.
The overall experience was good. The sweet potato fries were great. They were out of quite a lot of options. The yen bun was super good.
Always a win finding decent Japanse/Pan Asian restaurants that are also halal. I ordered the chicken bao and halloumi fries, and my guest ordered a classic burger and sweet potato fries. Minus the chicken being a little rubbery, we had a great time. Staff were amazing too. I'll be back to try the "Yuzu & Matcha Cake" soon.
So so good!!! the bao burger buns were fantastic and the chips were fantastic. our server was very kind + went above and beyond! my only complaint is the music was a bit loud—everything else was PERFECT!
This absolutely hit the spot for my crabbing! Not sure why so many reviews complain, as you should not go in expecting a 5-star fancy dining experience. But the flavors are delicious. Had the Spice Burger and the Dashi Fries! Full belly and great nap afterwards ;-)
The Asian slaw was fresh, had some spice to it but was a little sweet for our liking.
Nice food, friendly staff, loved the flavours in double teriyaki burger. Definitely worth a visit!
Lovely little place opposite Costa. Food was delicious, service was good. Highly recommend the wagu burger and wings beautiful! Plus it's halal win win.
Caught up with some friends here and to our surprise, the burgers were amazing! According to one friend the best burger they’ve had in ages! I had the Supreme Yen which was perfectly cooked, not dry and went perfectly with the seasoned fries. Bonus that everything is halal as well! Great experience and perfect lunch spot for those exploring the London Bridge area. Not five star because it is cramped and uncomfortable seating so not suitable for a longer sitting.
We visiting during the soft opening, and were immediately brought downstairs as it was packed upstairs. We were the first to be seated downstairs, but that wasn’t for long. The decoration alone downstairs were beautiful.
Prices seemed fair for downtown London, but the drink prices were on the high side. We ordered a couple of different kinds of burger, and they were absolutely gigantic! The chicken burger seemed like it was made with two full chicken breasts. And the buns were delicious as well as the fillings and meat.
Service was also impeccable, with the staff being polite, friendly, and attentive, despite how must it was.
Overall, this was an amazing experience!
Me and my boyfriend went for dinner today and the food was great but the service was even better. There was a small issue with our booking and they made all the arrangements for us to stay. Couldn’t recommend more!
