Aside from the starter, food was very tasty and freshly cooked.
So lets not dwell on the seafood sizzler too much. Definitely sizzling, definitely a little bland. Maybe we made the wrong choice because.....
Our mains were of a much higher standard, full off flavour. The khandi had three huge tiger prawns and was deliciously messy. Our Shatkora was wonderful tangy and refreshing light alternative to your usually spicy curry. The pashwari namn was light and sweet.
All in all, a very pleasant experience with friendly staff and great tasting mains.
Fantastic restaurant 5 Stars! The food was delicious and well presented, tasty but not drenched in oil like in a lot of places. The service was professional, attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend. I wish we lived near here so we could come more often. Well done Misha!
Went in quite late at 10 but received a very warm welcome. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food was tasty and hot. Had angry bird for starter - fried quail which is unusual but tasty. Prawn purée, chicken bhuna extra hot and okra. Defo worth a visit!
Short break to Great Yarmouth and spotted Misha while wandering around the town. It looked inviting so we chose here to eat. The staff were lovely and the food was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend anyone coming to Great Yarmouth to eat here.
Been meaning to try this Indian restaurant ever since it opened and we finally managed it last Friday and we were not disappointed! It was relatively busy for the time of year and we were met with a friendly face and a relaxing atmosphere immediately. The service was faultless, we were not rushed for our order or hurried to leave when we'd finished and the food was delicious. Overall, our first visit to this restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable and a return visit is necessary. Highly recommended!
Excellent food as always, best Indian restaurant in Great Yarmouth with very friendly attentive service. Chicken dhansak is particularly good.
First rate Indian restaurant with an extensive menu and excellent service. We visited one Saturday evening and the atmosphere was good, a decent buzz but not too noisy. Poppadoms and pickles as an appetiser were standard fare - nothing special but equally nothing negative. Starters of a mixed grill and onion bhajis were excellent however, tasty and just the right amount of spice/heat in the grill. Main courses comprised chicken tikka chilli mossala and a vegetable biryani, lemon rice, garlic and peshwari naan breads and a couple of sides: brinjal bhaji and tarka dall. Superb! Very flavoursome and tasted fresh which is not always the case at Indian restaurants in my experience. With draft Cobra available and a decent wine list, I think this is a real find. Add on great, friendly service and it's a winner. We'll return if we want Indian in Yarmouth again. Recommended.
We had the pleasure of dining at Misha on the last night of our stay in Gt Yarmouth. It rivaled any Indian cuisine we’ve had at home in the USA!
The friendliness of the staff & the owner was lovely, especially as we’d gone in late at night. The food was amazing and the restaurant very neat & clean. Beautiful touches even when being presented with the bill. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area!
Excellent vindaloo, rice and poppadoms. Very polite staff. Cobra beer very nice. Whole experience was very enjoyable. Vindaloo was very well presented...that's says everything. They also open the door when you're leaving!
Great value and delicious food with lovely services, right in the heart of Great Yarmouth.
We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, with chilled out, friendly staff. We had the chicken tandoori and scallops for starters, chicken especially was amazing, juicy, tender and full of flavour.
For mains we had the duck curry, a chicken pasanda, a saag aloo and a peshwari naan. All were really tasty, naan was the best we’d had for ages.
They even had a lovely little dessert menu - we had some delicious, sweet gulab jamun and a moreish liqueur coffee.
Total for the 8 dishes and wine came in at around £50, which we thought was great value!
Overall, a really good local restaurant, well worth the trip!
Just eaten here with my family "it was delicious" said my grandson and we all agree. The food was very good indeed and reasonably priced. The staff & owner were very friendly & attentive and it was exceptionally clean. We would highly recommend.
We went to the opening evening of this new Indian restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by the manager/owner who showed us to our table. The menu was quite comprehensive with some tasty sounding chef's specials in addition to the everyday dishes found in most other Indian restaurants. For starters my wife had the King Prawn Puree and I had the Seafood Sizzler, a delicious mix of prawns mussels and calamari spiced up with peppers, onion and chillies. For our main courses we opted for some regional specialities. I had the Chicken Achari which had a spicy tomato and onion sauce. My wife had Chicken Shatkora which had a fruity, lemon sauce. Both of these dishes were delicious, although the Shatkora was a little too lemony for her taste but if you don't try it, you'll never know! Our waitress, Larissa, was very polite and helpful. With four side dishes, the whole lot came to just over £50 which we thought was good value. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be going back.
We eat out a lot at curry places. We found the food very nicely flavoured and authentic. This was the first time that we came here after reading the Google reviews. I base Indian restaurants on the thickness of the naan breads as being Asian naan breads should never ever be thick like most others. The naans were thin as they should be and I would recommend this place.
Saw the great reviews and had high expectations. I have to agree with others a really great Indian. Friendly staff and first class food. Highly recommend. Perfect treat ahead of the Great Yarmouth Park run the next day!
A faultless restaurant experience. Delicious balti, great vegetarian options, impeccable service. At the end we got a heated cloth to wipe out faces with - a lovely touch. All at a very good price. Thoroughly recommend!
Superb food, varied menu.
Staff were excellent, extremfriendly and accommodating.
Thoroughly recommended, and as I'm from Birmingham, I know a thing or two about curries, and this is up there 😀
Delicious and authentic South Asian food. The service was excellent and all staff were very pleasant to deal with. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and had a relaxed vibe to it. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting.
