I went to this place with my friends for some end-of-bowling fun. I think the price was quite high. Some of the staff were friendly, while others seemed like they didn't want to be there and had a bit of an attitude. I also think that the food was overpriced. However, the hot chocolate was really nice. My friend and I also played pool, which was fun but quite expensive. We had to pay for the cues, and we also had to pay two pounds for the table.
Visited the arcade with a 5 year old and 6 month old baby on a dark, damp day early in the new year and Wow! We had so much fun. Played kiddies 10 pin bowls, had as much fun as the child, won loads of tickets on the Hungry Hippo game, the baby loved pressing buttons everywhere and enjoying the lights. Honestly hadn't had so much fun in ages. Most importantly with little ones, the toilets were spacious and impressively clean and a baby changing room was available. Would highly recommend.
A large, noisy arcade at the street end with plenty of gaming choice for all ages. Clean toilets and winning-tickets exchange shop. South parade parking easy via the app.
Amazing arcades/amusements. No dearer than any other around the country, you will need a couple of hundred pounds to visit multiple though. Be warned. Great seafront, avoid joyland.
Had a great time here today, spent 2 hours in the arcade.
Won some good toys for the kids, staff were friendly and helpful.
Machines were paying out very well.
Good atmosphere, worth going to.
Good fun especially in the rain. Range of prizes might not be as large as other arcades but still OK. There is bowling for £2 per person in the arcades or real bowling on the beach side. Pool is £1 per game on the beach. Toilets are clean on both sides. It's quite far from town centre is only negative.
After visiting all arcades on Yarmouth seafront - Wellington Pier stands out as the most modern and up to date. The machines were of this century and hosted many that I am not familiar with at all. I play a lot of the arcade shooters where I can - with my 9 year old son also - and we came across one we have not played before at this location. Escape the undead 4d. It was full of jump scares that got both our hearts racing and we lasted for about 10 min before being mauled by zombies. My daughter got a teddy stuck in the claw machines and the staff were easy to find and came to assist immediately. Some of the machines also had been upgraded to not give the annoyance of multiple fold up tickets but tallied them for you on a printed receipt - simple thing really but this is the first arcade I’ve seen to make use of this technology across multiple games throughout their establishment. The ticket office was well stocked and had loads of prizes - naturally the ratio to actual cost of prize to tickets is horridly disproportionate but my children both got some sweets and had 30 min worth of fun.
Best place to chill out in Yarmouth, with a variety of stuff to do! Favourite being bowling. Great service, and you can get a card to keep your tickets for later
Come here for years unfortunately seem to be putting less prizes in the machines and not getting much back as often which is a shame as this place used to really be good for prizes and tickets. Hopefully go back to as it was a year or so ago!
Fun place, obviously! Lots to play on, for kids and adults. A bowling alley inside, a place to get some food, and prizes to win on the mass of arcade games. Won a toy dinosaur (Keith) and my partner and I had the best time showing him the sights of Yarmouth. He had a great time experiencing Wellington Pier.
Really enjoyed our little adventure here, child friendly and wasn’t too busy either. Overall It was clean and inside the arcade can keep you entertained for hours!
The view was beautiful as well, love a good pier out at sea :)
Brilliant! Had a great couple of hours here this afternoon. Generous 2p machines, constantly being refilled with bonus sweets, tickets and small toys, lots of different arcade machines and games to choose from. Also a small bowling alley with in the arcade. Highly recommended
The kids smashed the arcades, Then we went along the front for some fresh sea air... it wasn't just fresh it was bloody freezing.
Really enjoyed our time here, a few older games, with one of the guns broke on a "Time Crisis" like machine but apart from that all the games we used were in good condition and the place seemed generally clean and tidy
Had so much fun here, my little boy loved it! Hours of entertainment and great prizes for the tickets you win!.
Great pier for bowling and amusements. There's a great selection of games staff are helpful.
Great fun entertainment, the bowling was cheap and good time had by all
Great Pier. It has many games. And very good for children and adults both. Has got nice views. Very enjoyable and great experience.
You will find KFC there you can also find Subway food there. And may other Resturants.
Great customer service. Great stuff.
One of the best amusements with a good mix of both modern and classic games. Also has toilets which is always useful. Contactless ways of getting cash without the charge. Bowling can be a bit temperamental but adds to the charm
