During our visit to California Cliffs in April 2024, we had the pleasure of dining at Angelo’s Cafe, a charming little spot in this seaside holiday village. Although we only visited once, the experience left a positive impression. Arriving close to closing time, the cafe was quiet, offering a relaxed atmosphere perfect for winding down after a day of exploration. The service was exceptional, with the staff providing friendly and attentive assistance throughout our visit. The menu selection was varied and satisfying, catering to different tastes. We found the quality of the food to be quite good, earning an 8/10 rating from us. What’s more, the prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous, offering great value for money. While we didn’t try any standout dishes, the overall cleanliness of the cafe was noteworthy, adding to the pleasant dining experience. Outdoor seating options were available, enhancing the cafe’s appeal on a sunny day. Although we didn’t notice any particularly unique aspects about the cafe, its cozy and informal ambiance was enough to make us feel welcome. While there were no specific aspects that exceeded our expectations, there were also no issues encountered during our visit. In terms of accessibility, the cafe scored a moderate 5/10, given its small and quaint location within California Cliffs. Overall, we would highly recommend Angelo’s Cafe to others seeking a relaxed and informal dining experience with friendly service and reasonable prices.

Excellent cafe serving good food at very reasonable prices. Pleasant and helpful staff. Ideal place to call for breakfast before heading out to either California Cliffs beach or any of the other attractions either on the Norfolk coast or further inland.

A lovely little cafe. We called for breakfast. I had a sausage sandwich and husband had sausage and egg sandwich. We both had a cup of tea. Total cost was £12.60. Food was nice and tasty. Dogs are allowed inside and get a free sausage treat. The toilets are spotlessly clean and accessible. I can imagine parking being an issue in high season. Service was fast and friendly. I would eat here again. We've eaten here again today March 2023.. excellent food my husband had steak and kidney pudding and I had scampi both meals absolutely beautiful. We both had a pudding apple crumble with custard and carrot cake both gorgeous. A pot of tea for 2, total cost £33.00. We will be back again.

We walked from Yarmouth to visit this cafe because it was dog friendly, and it didn't disappoint. The cafe is great, clean and inviting. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was great, and doggo was given a free sausage, which he enjoyed. I can't recommend this cafe enough, this is how a cafe should be. Thank you.

Super first visit to Anglo’s yesterday. We (2 adults 3 lurchers) greeted so warmly and never have we been offered (complimentary) freshly cooked sausages for the dogs. So as well as off -menu choice for my lunch the dogs were delighted too. Proper mug of tea to wash down the food. Going back today!

Breakfast by the sea,, well close anyway but welcome to this not only quaint but also quirky cafe. I LOVED the big sofas and rustic tables, authentic yet modern. Include a great menu, choice, value, TV if you must but spend time walking around and check out the gifts or beach shop attached. Dog friendly so if you have allergies be careful, if not bring your furry friend. Accept cash and card which is useful. Very prompt answering questions on Facebook about location which was useful. The food was sumptuous and certainly no complaints. A lovely pot of tea, an English breakfast, and I was ready for the beach nearby. A most lovely cafe and worth a visit. Parking is on street and quite limited, however don't let this deter you from visiting what is a great tourist hot spot reccomended by locals too. Don't miss out.

Service and staff were brilliant, food was lovely, only downside was yappy dogs, when we arrived there were none inside, after we ordered their were 6 dogs inside,it was noisy at times making it hard to have a conversation with my wife opposite, I love dogs but so many in a cafe was not a nice experience, so if you have a dog it's the place for you as its first class food,I will be back but will check how many dogs you have in.

Karen and the other servers are lovely. It's very dog friendly, so much so that my dogs dragged us there every time we are near! The food is lovely, very tasty. And dogs get a sausage with every meal too, whether that be breakfast or lunch! Definitely worth a visit.

Staying in caister, we have done several walks to some wonderful places. Today we walked to california beach with our puppy, we came across this amazing place called angelo's cafe. Dog friendly, cosy, extremely clean and very friendly, it was great we ate good food, enjoyed a good atmosphere and our pup was made very welcome with a complimentary freshly cooked sausage as where all the dogs that came to angelo's, which is not just a cafe.. but a cute little shop to the side that sells from what I could see, everything you need. So if your walking the coastal paths or just out for a drive, you should definitely stop off here.

Lovely cafe after a long beach dog walk. Tasty food, lovely coffee all together with friendly service. Bonus was the complementary sausage served in a dog bowl, ours were very appreciative indeed!

Whilst on holiday we found this little gem. A 5 min walk from our caravan at California Cliffs, and a sneeze away from the beach and seafront. We visited on "wind down Wednesday," which meant we could get a full English for £6 which was all freshly cooked. Mix this with the table service, friendly atmosphere, and staff. This is a place I would recommend. Well done.

Popped in yesterday mainly to buy bottled water for the dog,was told by the lovely young girl serving that there was water bowls by the door for dogs and that they are also welcome in the cafe. Called my husband over and went inside. We both ordered the breakfast, which was very tasty and a free sausage for the dog(presented in a little dog bowl for her)Lovely place, very friendly, spotlessly clean and good choice of food and drinks.

Although tricky to park here, it's worth the effort. Nothing wrong with anything here and it's open 7 days a week 9am to 3pm. Very good menu. Also including Sunday roast dinners.

Beautiful cafe on the sea front in Caister. Dogs more welcome than humans. Free complimentary sausage for your fur babies too! Chilled atmosphere and the food is gorgeous. Definitely recommend 👌🏼
