Lion & Herring - Great Yarmouth - Photo album

Service was fast and staff were friendly. The chips were hot but a little soggy and pie was heated by microwave. Sausage in batter was the best bit.
Good place to have traditional fish & chips, also would recommend chicken if you're not a fan of fish
Great place, abit more on the expensive side for fish and chips in Yarmouth but still tasted nice. Only main complaint would be the gravy needs to be warmer
Top notch fish and chip shop with great tasting haddock and the chips taste great and fresh. For the price i certainly got more than i bargained for. I will definately come here again on my next trip to Yarmouth.
Nice quality food with space to sit and eat. Service was friendly but not very speedy.
Definitely go again great prices, good food filled the plate
Nice fish and chips good food selection
Lovely fish and chip's hot and crispy fish lovely.
Lots of vegetarian options, good price and dogs welcome with indoor seating!
It's where the locals go, but it's a bit greasy. Infinitely better than most in town. Proper chip and fish portions
Not quite sure why this chippy has bad reviews as I am the world's most critical foody and I loved it!! The chips were cooked to perfection and tasted great. The fish was chunky and white whilst at the same time moist and flavoursome and the batter was light fresh and crispy. All the meals eaten on
Great fish chips mushy peas 🫛 😋
Just had a lovely 'big' portion of cod and chips. Always a beautifully cooked piece of cod 'huge'! Chips nearly always good though sometimes bit dry lacking in taste, prob down to the spuds used but always cooked how we like em - brown! Not pale and under cooked like some do them. And good value for
