The Owner is so lovely! We were greeted with a warm welcome. The dogs were allowed to come in with us and were given a sausage too, which I thought was a lovely touch π
We were also offered hot drinks and just generally very well looked after.
The cod bites and chips are delicious ππ
Visitor to Grt Yarmouth. Googled and located the place. Easy to find parking outside. Very friendly service from the staff. Super good size fish (even the med size) and tasty. Chips are chunky and big portions. Reduced plastic use. Some seating indoor and clean environment.
Best fish and chips for miles around. Fish is always fresh and tasty. Chips are usually perfect too!

The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Nothing is to much trouble for them they will meet any requests and give service with a smile.

Had a job in GY yesterday and drove up from portsmouth. I skipped breakfast as I fancied fish n chips for lunch - and I wasnβt disappointed. Well cooked, fresh and tasty. Iβll be back when Iβm next in town π
This has to be one of the best fish and chips I've had for a long time if you want proper fish I highly recommend just left their and will go back again
I used to work in Great Yarmouth some 40 years ago...today I was back in town again, searching for the legendary fish 'n' chips I fondly remember eating there.
Fortunately I found P J's Take Away on Northgate Street and our cod and chips was frankly perfect. The fish was freshly cooked, flaky-white cod in a tasty batter, the chips were chunky and tasted like the real deal. The staff was lovely, the service impeccable and our seafront take-away dinner was a dream - served with salt and vinegar and a slice of lemon, in a convenient box.

What can I say, we travel 25 miles to get our tea, always great service with a warm welcome from him and his family always going above and beyond, never give reviews but I feel here is worthy and should be acknowledged of standards across the board, and see you again when I have cheat day. ππ»
These were the best fish, chips and SCRAPS, we've ever had!!! Hubby had curry sauce while I had mushy peas, all the food was delicious but the stars were the curry sauce and the scraps. We would certainly return
