Looking good, best choice of beers in the surrounding area. Great setting, great staff and far and away best pub for miles.

We are thrilled you have brought the Lion back to life. Food is delicious and beers are fantastic. Are the portion sizes a bit small for a hearty meal?

We have eaten there twice in the last week and have not been disappointed. The food is great with a varied menu well cooked, good selection if local ales and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Called in on the hire boat with our two kids for lunch, we all had fantastic burgers and the staff and service was excellent. Even has a park for the kids which was a surprise for the kids 5*

Rang and made a booking for a Sunday evening meal. Was not informed that it was only Roast Dinners being served and if I'd have known I wouldn't have made a reservation. And what a fortunate omission this was. OMG what an absolutely stunning Roast Beef dinner I had. I mean, my Mrs can deliver a Sunday roast but yours just knocked the spots off hers. The slabs of beef that was served, hell, I have had smaller pieces when asking for steak. Cooked to perfection and the taste of the spuds. I thought I'd gone to heaven. We're here on holiday for the week and I'm coming back. Some cracking real ales to. Nom nom nom nom......

Fabulous lunch today, would totally recommend. We happened upon the pub today having travelled by boat from Wroxham and are soooo pleased we did. We will definitely be driving from our home in Norwich for a return visit

We went for a Sunday Roast, which was excellent. The meat was tender and cooked well and very enjoyable. My son also LOVED his children's burger meal. A great selection for all the family. The staff were welcoming and friendly and We will definitely be back again.

Had a meal with husband and friends Thursday evening. Good food, service and atmosphere. Was slightly concerned that there might not be parking facilities (as we had to use car as transport) but there is👌. Current owners doing a great job with renovations.....Would definately eat there again!🍴

My wife and I visited whilst on a boating holiday with our dog. This is a dog friendly pub. A good selection of beers and as they had their Oktoberfest happening there were guest German beers as well. Initially I popped up in the afternoon when we moored for a pint and had this in the garden, later we ate in the restaurant area. Nice place.

Great pub that accommodated 20 hungry rugby players on tour and their parents with ease. Friendly and fast service from start to finish. See you again soon

Popped in to the Lion Inn yesterday on a walk as was told it served a few ales. Wasn't disappointed, at least 15 ales/beers and plenty of gin for my girlfriend to try too. A quick pint turned into near four hours of drinking and got a cheeky roast dinner too, which was really nice. Staff were really friendly, and the place was quite popular with a constant flow of people popping in. Will pop in again, may be for the beer festival, end of month 😎

Visited on Wednesday 23rd August 2022. Had a pizza and some chips. They were nice. Service was fast. Very helpful staff. We sat in the garden. It was lovely. Will definitely visit again on our next boat trip / motorbike trip.

Great find - started coming here a few years ago, we usually park in the car park and walk part of the Weaver's Way before returning for lunch. Very dog friendly, staff always kind and attentive since we've been visiting. Vegan and vegetarian options are fantastic, great beer garden for eating during the summer. Highly recommended!

The specials for Oktoberfest were amazing, Bratwurst up with the best, served with huge pile of German fries. Fantastic choice of Beers, Ales, Ciders, and Lagers. Even a can fridge in the bar with even more beers. For me personally the star drink was the black lager, quite simply beautiful. Even if you are T Total, the regular food was absolutely on point, backed up with friendly, great service and excellent value for money.

We got take away meals on a busy Saturday afternoon and they were amazing! We ordered fish&chips and chicken and bacon loaded fries. The portion sizes are brilliant and they offer value for money. I live an hour and a half away but already wondering what I'm going to try next 😊

Brilliant pub and restaurant (so much choice for food and drink -inc vegan options)- somehow manages to cater for scores of families and still maintain a level of class and sophistication suitable for those visiting without family. We had booked ahead 24 hours in advance (glad we did as it was busy and we would have ended up sitting outside) and the service over the phone was great. We arrived on time, we’re seated in the dog friendly section of the restaurant - a quaint and well decorated room which felt more at home than sitting in a pub in the broads. There was background music and we were served almost immediately. I loved the fact there were so many drinks to choose from - especially guest kegs and casks of IPAs - I was spoilt for choice but chose citrus flavoured beer as it was a hot day. Didn’t regret it - they were satisfying. Our food was ordered and brought out again in quick time. Portion sizes were huge (I didn’t complain) and looked amazing. Like the drink menu, there was lots to choose from - including some variety to cater for vegan diet. I chose a wild boar dog and was deeply satisfied. The pudding menu was slightly underwhelming - but after eating so much all I wanted was some sorbet and a coffee. Prices were a little more on the expensive side compared to where we ate on the broads but it was well worth the price. After dinner, we headed outside and let the kids play in the park. All in all it was a great meal to top off our brilliant holiday on the broads. If we ever return, we will eat here again.
