I love this place. The staff are so nice. It is loved and cared for. In the summer the plants outside are beautiful, it's a lovely place to eat outside or in.
The selection of cakes is fantastic, even better is that they're huge 😂. I must have tried most of them 😂.
We love having lunch here, never had an unsatisfactory meal. Always nice quality and well presented.
Our favourite place for lunch.
We stopped here for lunch for the first time today- was really impressed! The staff were all really friendly and the food we ordered was all delicious!
Lovely to sit outside under the parasol- great atmosphere.
It's dog friendly too which was handy for us. They also had a dog section on the menu- ice cream or sausage and gravy made just for your dogs! We didn't order but I always think it goes above and beyond when you include dogs in a business too :)
They also had a few kids rides and an e-claw game to keep the kids entertained.
Would come again for lunch! :)
My favourite go-to place when I visit Great Yarmouth. As I need to eat Gluten Free (not by choice) it is lovely to know I am safe to eat here. They always have so much on offer. I had a GF all day breakfast and a slice of wonderful orange and lemon cake. They also own Christopher's at the other end of the sea front so it is lovely to be able to eat depending on what end of the sea front you are visiting.
Every time we go to Great Yarmouth we make sure we pop in here. Excellent food with lovely staff! The cakes look amazing too! Will definitely be making sure to save room for our next visit 😊
We had a lovely lunch here today. Fantastic food. My hubby has fish chips and peas and he says it was the best fish he's had in great Yarmouth. I had southern fried chicken burger with chips and salad...that was lovely too. The wait for ordering food was excessively long but once ordered it was quite quick. The toilets have a code to enter but are relatively clean. You can sit outside undercover with dogs but not inside the tea room. Definately good value for money. I would visit again.
Beautiful venue, incredible food, fantastic service. My wife is Gluten-free and their range is excellent. We always come here when we visit Gt Yarmouth! Thank you again!
We have been here twice on this visit to Great Yarmouth and been prior to this visit. The first day we had lunch. I had a tuna mayo sandwich and it was served on lovely thick granary bread, with crisps and a side salad. The only downside is the service can be slow but we're on holiday so no rush. We ate outside on both occasions and they have little fleece blankets you can use which is great at this time of year. Dog friendly too in the outdoor areas. On our second visit we had cream tea and it was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Only disappointment about this tea room was that we have never found it before. Located next to the Model Village but sits back off the main road. Had a cream tea today and it was lovely. Staff very friendly all food cooked on premises. Scones were still warm. Will definitely go back.
Love this place. We were served by, I think, the owner. He was really friendly and helpful, the coffee I had wasn’t very strong so he happily added another shot to it free of charge.
There is an amazing selection of tasty cakes on offer.

Some say that tipping is both a great way of showing appreciation but also a must do!
Here in the UK we tend to do it when overwhelmed with the service, the food, the experience and not necessarily done as standard
So I was that impressed I did leave them a tip and I will leave you one....visit here!
A first time visitor to this cafe I came as it was reccomended for gluten free dairy free options etc...I am neither however my friend was.
There was ample choice. The food was filling, good quality reasonably priced. The puddings are to die for and although full up I found room ..save room...
Now the service.... Real old school delight to see. The gentleman worked the room like magic spending time with customers not too long but enough of a conversation to feel welcomed interested in and you felt a genuine interest.
The same man served my blind friend and the way he put down the drinks and explained exactly where it was and angled it showed respect understanding experience even.
If I had a chain of cafes or restaurants I would hire this guy to train staff in customer service 100% real 5* service
Real glad I went. Come and visit and support this business.
Behind is a real retro arcade to be experienced also.
Highly reccomended and will be back to sample more deserts.
My thanks to the team.

Dogs are welcome in their outside seating area. They have heaters for your use all along the walls. They have doggie specials, sausage and gravy or pooch ice-cream.
Their food is excellent and priced very well. Large quantities. The staff are super friendly and inviting.
We have been going to these tea rooms for many years now, after we have walked around the model village. This is our final place to visit after a long day, working our way from Joyland down the Prom and the arcades. The food is excellent, and locally sourced. (Some people will notice a change to the name, but Chris has owned and run the business all the time we have been customers). There is a very good choice of food on the menu, from meals to desserts. You need to get there by about 6pm, because the popular items sell out in busy times.
Outstanding service and lovely place! Nice fresh scones and cakes. Very friendly and welcoming with lovely music. Highly recommend!
Cream tea followed by Cocktails/Mocktails! Great place as always. Have to try his other place near the pier too, looks great.
Lovely tea room. Stopped here for a quick bite to eat and to refuel the kids.
Say outside under the canopy with an outdoor heater keeping it the cold!
The owner was great, really friendly. The food was lovely and the service very good.
Kids thoroughly enjoyed their hot chocolate!
The cakes looked amazing but we didn't have a chance to try them.
We came here on a quiet Tuesday afternoon to get out of the torrential rain and were pleased to find a pleasant covered garden with plenty of tables and lots of pretty hanging baskets and little sparrows flying around. The young waitress was friendly and made sure we checked into the Covid app.
We tried to order from their very wide selection of hot foods, but were told the kitchen was closed for hot food (at 4.20pm), so we opted for a cream tea, which at £4.95 seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, the scones were pretty awful - one of them was almost totally flat as though something had gone wrong with the bake and both were extremely dry. We couldn't be bothered to complain, but probably should have done. However, the clotted cream and pot of tea was nice, as was the chocolate fudge cake that my daughter had.
Overall it was a pleasant and inexpensive experience and though I definitely wouldn't have the scones again, I can imagine their sandwiches and hot food faring better.
Handy cafe for post-Pleasure Beach refreshment, serving homemade hot food and a large number of daily specials in addition to cakes, pastries and sandwiches. Would definitely benefit from a proper ordering till rather than staff writing down orders longhand then using a calculator!
