Lovely meal, friendly staff always go above and beyond cant fault anything
Well first time visiting don't usually do pubs. Nice little place. Only thing I didn't like is the staff had to sit in-between the toilets and the smoking room to eat their lunch. When the whole Restaurant was completely empty. It just looked wrong . Apart from that the place is OK 👍
Always welcoming, even though I rarely visit as now live out of the area. They even remember my drink of choice! Superb food too and always busy so book ahead!
Love this place food is amazing and always get look after by staff especially the lovely Emma and the owners Dawn and Mike are the best.
This is an average pub which serves the community well. Good menu, with nothing unexpected. Faggots were lovely, although had to wait quite a while for the food to arrive (and pub wasn't busy). Several drinks were missed off the order. Everyone was pleased with their meals.
Love the food here, always so tasty and the portions are generous. The staff are attentive and always check on you throughout your visit. Great drinks selection too.
Had a birthday lunch with my grandchildren here. What a lovely find! Prices very reasonable, pub nicely decorated and clean and the food was really good. I'll be back. Maybe a Sunday lunch next time.
We were let down by a venue after a funeral so 18 of us went to the star. They were very welcoming.we all had meals. The food and the service was realy good.

Made very welcome on arrival. Immediately seated. Drinks offered & served quickly. Very pleasant atmosphere. Food excellent & plentiful. Would visit again

Nice pub, the front outside area could be better needs tidying up glass on the floor and weeds, could do with some decking, nice pint tho 👍🏻

Very good value for money, assorted sandwiches, pork pie, warm sausage roll, chutney followed by a good selection of cakes , topped off with the usual jam & clotted cream scone! Coffee or tea to wash it all down.

Delicious food, friendly staff and no shortage of choice from the menu, also, plenty of choice behind the bar too! We both chose the same meal, chip shop platter, it came out piping hot and the presentation was fantastic, felt like a kid in a sweet shop, we'll definitely return, as we have over the

Very helpful polite staff. Great uniform tee-shirts. Sunday lunch were huge portions. Beautiful outdoor smoking area.
