Been a while since previous visit. Layout changed with new decor. Pleasant visit, good tea room menu, good staff. Fair prices. Good selection of sundries close to check out.
My friend and I had breakfast rolls, egg, bacon and sausage and mugs of tea. Good service, very chatty and polite, nice atmosphere. Also away from the madness in Bury today.
We both bought top ups for Christmas presents, tea, jam, chutney, juice, chocolate and more. Altogether was good experience,
Great find. Biked over here today. Hidden gem. Had a cappuccino, cheese scone (my baseline test for all coffee shops!) and shared a slice of toffee tray bake. Unfortunately dropped from a 5 star review to a 4. The reason is that it's rarely open!
The last 4 times I have attempted to visit Hennessey its been closed, (normal working hours) shame as the review below still stands when your lucky enough to find it open.

Beautiful setting, very relaxed environment to enjoy a yummy breakfast. The food was beautifully presented and did not disappoint in taste. Will definitely return to try the afternoon tea 😄
Love this place, finally managed to visit today and was very impressed with the selection of items. We bought some meat from the butchers which was very reasonably priced, the butcher was very friendly and helpful. Also bought some snacks which were tasty. Will definitely be back!
Always love going to Henessey, usually on a Thurs afternoon on our way to pick up the grandchildren. Always a lovely welcome and good old natter with the Ladies. Food is lovely too.
AMAZING-I-N-G!!!! Had a lovely breakfast outside with my parents & dogs here in August!! Outstanding service start to finish, they even treated the dogs to half a sausage & water bowl...❤️❤️❤️ Also checked out there stunning decor inside. Highly recommended indeed. Been a good few times now & never
We popped in as traffic was bad and would've taken ages to get to our usual coffee shop. So glad we did.... The surroundings are very tasteful and immaculately clean and tidy.
The staff were friendly and courteous too.

I ordered a selection of products as a gift for a friend's birthday. I popped on the online order whether they could please take the invoice out and maybe put a little note in to say it was from me when it went out for delivery. They called me straight away and asked me how I wanted it wrapped etc w
My favourite food shop, really friendly people, incredible meat, have just had a pork chop for lunch from their butchery and it was so tasty! Can’t drive past without stopping in to buy something, even if it’s just a prawn sandwich.
great place for breakfast or lunch if you don't want the hassle of getting into Bury St Edmunds. Lovely surroundings and really friendly staff. The breakfast is probably the best I've had out and well priced. the lunch menu is also worth a look with a lovely selection on offer.

Found this fantastic Farm Shop this morning. Fabulous produce of all kinds, great helpful staff and lovely coffee and cake to keep you going whilst deciding what to buy on the butchery dept, deli, fruit and veg and numerous other items. Will definitely return.

Also, as others have said, the sausage rolls are the best.
Fabulous evening on Saturday listening to Robbie Gladwell. Delicious food and a really cool atmosphere.
A cake and coffee afternoon treat is highly recommended too:)
