Rushbrooke Arms Sicklesmere - Great Whelnetham - Photo album

Nice place to stop for a drink travelling through Suffolk. Good drink options and good service from the staff. Portion sizes of the Chips ordered were less than expected and for the price paid.
Heavy steak options on the menu but the chef can’t cook one correctly. Bar can’t make a simple drink correctly either, then charge extra to right it. Servers left to pick up the slack, when not at fault. Edit: Amended rating due to manager contacting directly for feedback and to rectify poor expe
Great food but seemed short staffed. On arrival we waited a while to be seated so didn't feel welcomed. But food was good and didn't wait too long for that so things improved. Great play area outside, attractive pub.
Really lovely place - we've been there for the first time to have a get together with friends. The atmosphere is nice and warm, food was super yummy. One thing that let us down a little bit was a very slow service and couple of our starters were missed off by the time the mains came out, so we didn'
An altogether excellent venue for hospitality and dining. A warm welcome at the restaurant entrance and very helpful advice to navigate gluten and other allergy needs for one of our number. The decoration and general ambience was impressive. The staff were very responsive to our needs and service w
Excellent pub with high quality pub food, well worth a visit. The pub is beautiful with a really nice atmosphere and the restaurant part of the pub is equally impressive. Nice beer garden area with a play area for kids. Highly recommended A+++ Don't hesitate to try this charming beautiful country pu
The interior was lovely, and the exposed beams were a nice touch. Staff were friendly and attentive, prefaced that due to private functions that food would take a little longer than usual. Offered us fries as an apology. food was excellent and a good range of options, would definitely come back ag
Second time visiting Rushbrooke Arms in the past few weeks and happy to see that they finally had Dr Pepper available (I was the first time they don't sell Dr Pepper even though it's on their menu)! This will be a regular pub for me going forward as the food is good and having Dr Pepper is just bloo
A really nice place to eat. The food was good and reasonably priced. (£110 for 4 people) Staff were friendly and they didn't seem to be short staffed which was nice. Plenty of parking spaces, and there is even a little play area for the kids on a nice day. Would recommend a visit without doubt.
Visited the pub this evening and was served by a lovely blonde girl. She was very polite and happy. Food was very hot and tasty. Will definitely be back. We got the sharing platter for desert which was incredible I must say 😍
Took our girls for lunch. Service was 1st class, as was the food, will definitely return. Thank you everyone who served us (table of 4)
This should be in your list for a solid pub meal in a historical building. As with many chain pubs, the food is pretty standard and tatses pretty good. The atmosphere here is pleasant, and the pub is well decorated and well kept. Staff are friendly and deserve a raise for the hard work they do, the

My friend and i recently had lunch at the Rushbrooke Arms and were impressed by both the cuisine and the service. The attentive and knowledgeable server Quinn provided an excellent recommendation of tomohawk steak, new potatoes, mushroom and a salad. The food was fresh and delicious. We strongly re
