The Beehive has recently changed hands, I've eaten there twice now and really enjoyed the freshly made food at a good price. The pie was so big I couldn't eat all of it.
It's still fairly quiet so lacks a little in atmosphere at the moment.
I shall be returning.

Really nice pub, friendly new staff as recently taken over, came in on the off chance as driving through and wasn't disappointed! Me and my partner both had the roast dinners and I had a fudge cake for dessert, was really lovely and we will definitely be coming here again.

Quick drop off (and detour) while trudging the Essex Way. Great welcome from both the landlord and the locals. Great service and beer, nice atmosphere. And a grateful goodbye. Thanks for letting me stop by. ps Great Waltham seems a nice place to visit for a look-round and wander.
