Typical pub. Staff welcoming and spot on. Well looked after. We went for the curry evening (Wednesdays) which many of the locals attend. Price was very reasonable and the meal was tasty.
Two big TVs for sports.
We've just had a Sunday Roast here and it was absolutely delicious. We chose pork from a choice of three meats . The pork was cooked to perfection and is served on a plate along with a Yorkshire pudding and crackling. The rest of the vegetables are served separately and you get a good selection including roast potatoes, peas, carrots, swede, cheesy mash with cabbage and mini potatoes. It also comes with a separate jug of gravy.
The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming. It has a very nice atmosphere.

Home cooked lovely food for a very affordable price with very good company and bar staff, can’t fault it! My favourite pub in the area.

Came for a Sunday lunch and it was amazing! An unbelievable amount of food with super friendly staff. The pricing was also incredibly good! Even fully catered for our vegetarian and vegan friends. Would highly recommend.
Great Sunday lunch. Excellent food, massive portions (maybe a bit too much even), good value for money, friendly staff and friendly locals. Quick service even though it was Mother's Day and packed out.
Lovely, tasty traditional Sunday Lunch served at the Torrington Arms with generous amounts of roast potatoes and vegetables. Vegetarian options too - the Apricot & Nut Roast is delicious. Fantastic, helpful and friendly staff.
Popped in for a Sunday roast this past weekend. Phoned up extremely late, but thankfully was still able to be seated. Very generous portions of food. Myself and 3 others couldn't finish all the food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of cold beverages too, but for me personally, the best Guinness I've had in ages. Thanks again Annie for finding us a table with hardly any notice. Keep up the great work guys.
