Having lived in Warrington for the last 3 years, we never miss a weekly visit to the trigger pond. There are not many dog friendly pubs which have the most fantastic, vibrant and friendly staff who welcome us all to join them. They know us all by name and are brilliantly personal and attentive. Welcomed by the owner at the door Carina who always takes care of us and everyone else who visits. Her team are fabulous behind the bar and even come to visit our dogs who love the attention. Chris and Ben to only mention a couple of names are always smiling and happy to help. The food is exceptional. Great pub food menu with plenty to choose from and is always fresh and hot! I can’t recommend enough. Come and visit especially on a Friday as the pub quiz they host is excellent. Free entertainment for the weekend with prizes just for entering. What more can you ask for? Great and vibrant atmosphere every time.
We booked here as a really large group, and i was a little apprehensive at first about any confusion that could happen with being such a big group, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about, everything ran so smoothly with booking the table and having to ring to add a few more people, ordering food, drinks and even when the food was brought to our tables it was done so really quickly which was a bonus as we had a few small children with us so it meant they weren't waiting too long either. Everyone really enjoyed their food and they all said they had a lovely time!
We had booked a table last minute and when we arrived we had our dogs and the lady was very accommodating in finding us a table as they didn’t have any dog friendly ones straight away. By the time we had got a drink they had found us a table. The lady who was seating people was very helpful and a credit to the pub. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We were a big group, and this can often be a challenge when it comes to the bill and working out who owes what. I really liked your way that let us go up the bar to order, pay there and then and once everyone was done, the food still comes out at the same time.
The staff were exceptional, they really made us feel welcome and made sure we had what we needed. They were friendly, polite and we enjoyed a laugh with them.
This pub is Brilliant for humans and pooches alike! The staff are very accommodating and the food is lovely! I’m sure our dog would also rate 5 ⭐️ for her dinners here too!! They hold lots of great events too and the the Friday Quiz is a family favourite!! We 100% recommend!
I attended the Halloween disco breakfast with my partner and daughter! It was so good TJ the DJ made all the kids feel really special and they had so much fun. I really enjoyed the breakfast and all the staff really got into the Halloween theme! We have booked the Christmas breakfast disco as well and can’t wait!
Went over to visit family and decided to have our tea here. The food was amazing after having the mixed grill I'm glad I didn't go mega as I was stuffed! Still left space for a rocky road mind, plus it was quiz night! What an amazing night we had. Karina was fantastic an amazing host we will be back again soon.
Last minute booking for 11 of us after being to a theme park, we were soaked from the rain and hungry so we were delighted they could accommodate us at short notice. Food served quickly which was great as we had 6 tired children in our party. Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Karina the general manager was so welcoming and was great with the kids. 100% coming back next time we are in the area. Thank you Karina and team
Couldn't fault the reception when we arrived, Very polite and friendly and the service was excellent. The food was excellent to, and loved the fact we could bring our dog who being a puppy weed at our table but one of the staff cleaned it up with no complaints. My wife and I and puppy will definitely pay you a visit again. I'VE TOLD FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO VISIT YOU KNOWING THEY WOULDN'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

The layout was very spacious and bright, with a nice airy atmosphere.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was served quickly and was very tasty… one little point my husband made was that his meal (hunters chicken) was a little on the small side and there was no bbq sauce….we were there for late lunch though and I presume the portion size was smaller than an evening portion would be perhaps…but for what he had he said it was very nice. My meal tuna mayo melt baguette served with chips was very nice, my niece had club sandwich served with chips she enjoyed it but her sandwich was huge so she didn’t manage to eat all of hers…and my brother had lasagna with garlic bread and he thoroughly enjoyed his. All round it was a lovely experience and we will most certainly be back for seconds, thirds and fourths…would highly recommend The Trigger Pond

Excellent staff, very friendly ,great service, cannot fault them at all, manageress Karina is very welcoming, helpful and very professional, waitress Roxy is very good at her job as is Chris the barman.
Food was very nice, we had a starter and a main it was lovely.
A big thing for us is that it is dog friendly we have 2 small Yorkies and they are made so welcome
We were greeted very warmly by the manager and made to feel welcome. The food, as always, was very good and the service, although they appeared to be short staffed, was still good. The restaurant is always clean and inviting and the staff are friendly. We chose The Trigger Pond to celebrate our wedding anniversary as we know we will enjoy the meal and our surroundings. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes good food in a pleasant atmosphere.
Great service, very helpful staff at bar when ordering, clean and spacious surroundings. One minor error with order which was swiftly and easily rectified by attentive staff. Food was lovely, and portions were generous too. Overall, a lovely Friday tea!
I love diving into the Trigger Pond for food and drinks. I can't remember ever having a bad meal and if you're swanning around looking for a fun quiz, you can't beat the 'Not so Serious Quiz' on a Friday. The staff are fast and friendly even at the busiest hours, almost appearing to walk on water. I'd bring my friends, family, dogs and ugly ducklings for a good meal out at the Trigger Pond over any other pub in Warrington.
The Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken Burger and Rocky Road Sundae can fix anything. Highly recommended 👌
On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady and shown to our seats. The pub was extremely busy but the service was still excellent. We ordered drinks and main meals from the menu...all were lovely, we were very impressed with the quality of the food. On leaving the pub, the staff went out of their way to say "thank you, goodbye". Overall a very enjoyable experience, we will definitely be returning.
