We come here every week, never had a bad meal. Perfect for families, the play area is great to keep the littles ones entertained. The staff are outstanding especially the young lad and the ginger girl that always work near the play area. Poppy and kade too always make us feel welcomed. Highly recommend.
Food was fantastic today, excellent carvery and kids meals. Staff were friendly were struggling with demand as it's half term but still service with a smile. Carvery chef Adam was brilliant went above and beyond to serve us and vicky was also great checking on us regularly. Thanks for a nice afternoon out as a family.
Great local pub for carvery and pub meals. Large venue and excellent food. Decor does make the pub a little dark, even in bright sunlight, probably due to the size of the pub. But it's definitely worth a visit for works meals, family gatherings etc. Did I mention excellent food 👌👍
Don't come here often it's only when I'm visiting family. Handful of times.
I have to say the carvery is lovely, you can not fault it.
Food from the menu is good. Sadly, sometimes it has to be sent back, either too cold or food missing from it.
Some of the staff are lovely and give time for you, other staff you can clearly see they don't want to be there. If these things can change, even just a little, it would make a massive difference.
We called here after a long day at work. Luke who took our order and poured our drinks was very friendly. Dinner service was prompt and the quality of the food was fantastic. We ordered from the main menu and the carvery.
Vikki then took care of us for the rest of the visit making sure our food was of good standard and we had everything we needed. All staff we're brill, will definitely come again if in the area

Since it's our local pub, have been going quite often.
The carvery is pretty good and the staff are friendly and chatty... I have to say the fried chicken tastes great!
Food was nice, good portion aswell. Cakes were excessive...not that there's ever to much cake lol 😆

We went to the disco karaoke last night (25.08) and we had such an amazing night
Started the night with a starter platter from the kitchen which was an absolute delight.
Then the night just kept getting better and better the karaoke hosts Vikki and Matt kept the party going especially Vikki the most happiest person I know.
The bar staff equally were on the ball and it was lovely to see them all equally having a good night.
I hope this is something they will be continuing in the future as we will 💯 be returning
Had the festive mac and cheese, which is a layer of stuffing, cranberry sauce with crackling on top of a big portion. The chef even came to check that it was the festive portion. Could not eat my way through the roasted vegetables. Finished the meal with a cherry bauble.. which was gorgeous. Glad they managed to get them ordered in, but even the Christmas pudding would have been worth it. Will be going back again and again as the customer service is great and the food is superb.

Called for food after work, great carvery choice, quality & quantity superb, even choice of vegetables, all which I like, not forgetting the thick onion gravy!

Came today with my mum, had the sharing nachos. Absolutely unreal, the portion was huge. Had a vegan burger and the fish and chips for mains. Again absolutely unreal, amazing value too. Thankyou so much to Andrew (i think his name was) so kind and helpful, talking and engaging with us, lovely place
Ordered on the app, sat outside as was with my dog. Sinéad couldn't do enough, whilst I sat there being waited on lol. Me and Bella loved the bacon and egg toasted muffin 😋 👍🐶
