Fantastic meal for us and the Kids, Superb hospitality from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we departed. Made us and the Kids so relaxed and happy to be there. Wish I had found the pub earlier in our holiday as it's the best food around

We loved our evening meal, the black pudding wontons are to die for! Really lovely feel to the place. Great breakfast too. So peaceful & lovely to get away from it all. I'm sure we'll return

Great pub in a beautiful village. Good beer selection, pool room, lovely food and very pleasant staff. We attend a function upstairs and nipped down occasionally to watch the rugby. Locals were friendly too ;-)

We stayed here for two nights and dined on both of the evenings as well as enjoyed superb breakfasts. Both evenings our meals were very tasty,. beautifully presented and, I must say, the portions were very decent. I had salmon one evening and pork neck steak on the other (totally recommend). Husband loved his fish and triple cooked chips (clean plate), and had salmon on my recommendation the second evening. Chocolate brownie dessert is what we had on both evenings as it was simply the best. We will definitely come back again! Oh forgot to mention superb bar choices, we had the wild berry spritz, 2 of those each, very refreshing and nicely mixed! The pub hosts Tom and Claire are very friendly, very hospitable and go mile ahead to make sure you have exactly what you need and when you need it. Lovely warm atmosphere, fire places, traditional decor. A gem!!!

Great service and accommodated a large group of us, so can't thank the staff enough! Food was alright, lots of choice and came out quickly for such a big group. Wasn't a fan of the desert at all!

Just the most lovely restaurant/pub. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. It’s very clean including the bathrooms. The menu is phenomenal with an impressive selection of gourmet items. They have specialty cocktails and different drinks. I wish I would of gotten a picture of my pasta but it was too good to stop eating. The food came out hot and fresh. I’d definitely go back. Also, the prices are very fair for the quality.

We called this place on the off chance that they could squeeze us in last minute, they were very accommodating and although fully booked were able to juggle things and fit us in. The food and service did not dissapoint and we never felt like an afterthought or that we were an 'add on'. I had the pan fried coley on a bed of curried lentils & aubergine which was phenomenal, a real taste sensation and my husband had the steak, cooked to perfection accompanied by triple cooked chips (mouthwateringly filthy!) and a perfectly balanced salad! All served with a smile and a 'nothings to much of an ask' attitude. From the welcome of staff at the bar on our arrival to the seating and table service we couldn't fault it. We will certainly be back!!

The staff at the Highland drove Inn have been incredible!!! Maisy, Liza, Joe, Robin and Mike are so welcoming, really accommodating and really make the place warm and friendly. Food looks wonderful, but the service is something else. We would definitely recommend this pub for the lovely warm welcome and atmosphere. The pub makes the area.

Absolutely fantastic. An incredibly friendly welcome into a lovely pub by the attentive and professional staff. A lovely atmosphere with a bit of smooth jazz playing in the background. A great menu with various specials which are explained on seating. The food itself is wonderfully fresh, excellently prepared and beautifully presented and full of flavour. Absolutely worth a visit and highly recommended from this happy customer.

Excellent evening meal at the Highland Drove Inn. Very good choice of starters, mains and desserts. All that we had were very high quality and presentation. Good choice of ales, lagers and wines. Nice atmosphere too with friendly, attentive staff. Had a Sunday lunch here last month which was also to a very high standard. Would highly recommend.
