The Full Moon - Great Missenden - Photo album

If you're ever in Great Missenden then the Hare is a great place for a drink and food. We were there on a Sunday and the roast was great, decent portion size and tasted great. The staff were nice and friendly and the pub is dog friendly was a plus for us.
Spur of the moment visit of 4 for lunch. Service was excellent. 1 young lady running the front of house and she was really good. The food was really good, fresh, tasty, well presented and with no complaints. The atmosphere was that of an old English pub. Just right. 5 stars.
Unremarkable building from the outside houses a remarkable pub inside. Great fish and chips. Exquisite collection of horse harness brass buckles. This is a museum with great food
Really great food and amazing service. We went for lunch. Having a wood burner makes the atmosphere amazing and keeps you nice and toasty.
I was visiting friends who brought me to this lovely country pub. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was delicious. The gardens are ideal for families with a play area. Would love yo visit on a sunny day and dine outside.
We were just passing by this pub and decided to stop and take some break. I think here, far from London, you can truly understand what is the English pub looks like and how locals like to spend time there. It was full of people, and we even felt a bit uncomfortable as strangers at first. The food
Had a lovely sunday family lunch here. Great old style English pub with a very decent kitchen! We had the baked Camembert and garlic to start. Followed by a summer menu special... WHOLE Greek chicken, tzaziki, salad and chips. Good food good price. Chicken was maybe ever so slightly dry but the tzaz
Very nice place, good place for family's as it has a play area
Lovely traditional pub. Sunday roast delicious and good value. Staff friendly and efficient. We will go back for more. Garden looked good too.
The real ale choices are a little uninspiring. 3 traditional bitters. Could do with a lighter hoppy beer and maybe a darker one.
