What a lovely pub to stop off at after a long walk in the local area, really fresh beer from what tasted like clean lively pipes! The Wine choice is carefully selected also! the landlady and manager make you feel so welcome, kind enough to provide me with some lovely olives to accompany a juicy red wine! I was in heaven to say the least, next to a roaring fire what more can you want after a long dog walk that finishes just next to the pub! I cannot wait to go back! a truly delightful pub!

Our destination on a 7mile meander from Chesham, was The Old Swan. We weren't sure if it would be open in the day on bank holiday Monday but what a delight to find it was - a welcome stop for drinks and crisps. Great service.

Good to see food back on at the Old Swan. I'd only walked over with the dog for a pint of their excellent Bitburger so didn't have any food myself but everyone seemed to be enjoying what they had. This is one of my favourite pubs in the Chilterns, surrounded by beautiful walks, v dog friendly, lovely big garden if the weather is good and one of my favourite pub areas ever - just in front of the open fire on a cold winter's day.

Very cosy and dog friendly pub in the beautiful Chiltern countryside with a great big beer garden. The Old Swan is the perfect pit stop on a walk with good trails right on their doorstep. The people who work here are lovely and super friendly and they probably serve the best Guinness outside of Dublin.

Nice country pub with a lovely big garden. The only pub I've been to where the barman pops out to hold onto a local's horse while he nips to the loo! Decent cider and nice snacks.

One of the last remaining true traditional English country pubs.
