Warm and comfortable with efficient and friendly service. Food was good at a competitive price. Would definitely visit again.
Sue and Mark were really accommodating to our rather unique requirements. With plenty of parking for steam engines, and a plentiful supply of coffee. Mark allowed us to meet the newest member of their family, pablo the baby lab. Sue even poured the coffee fresh for us in the bars comfortable sofas
Great little independent pub and restaurant. The food is good quality and not expensive. Plenty of parking. It's well worth a visit.
Family run pub, with real ale, best homemade food. Recommend the soup always delicious, the Haddock, Salmon, Fisherman's Bake, Steak and ale pie, Beef Rendang, Vegetarian and Vegan options available. Cheesecake always different. Live Music currently twice a month on Saturdays from 9pm.
Can only comment on the bar as I didn't eat. Staff and customers very friendly. Nice drop of DoomBar

I must admit I'd not heard of the Green Dragon, which is hardly surprising as I live nearly 20 miles away from it. But today I was invited to a birthday party there, and what a treat it turned out to be! The buffet food was delicious and all home-made, and the hosts were very friendly. I've looked a
Salmon fillet was excellent, beer very reasonable, highly recommended
Excellent service and good quality beers 🍻 free house. Music some weekends, very nice. Also very good meals and pleasant dining area 😋.
Amazing home cooked food is literally the best home cooked pub food in the area. The owners Mark and Sue are lovely as well, i have been going there for years and it never disappoints me!
Beautiful meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Good menu and very well cooked. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you both.
Great restaurant, fantastic open mic nights
I had crab cakes as a starter, and slow cooked beef. Both were delicious. My husband had pate as a starter, and steak pie. He was equally pleased with the tasty food of high quality. We can highly recommend this pub for a warm welcome and good quality food.
We ate here for our wedding anniversary and it was lovely Sue was warm and welcoming and really made a fuss of us,roses, candles and even anniversary sprinkles on the table, we felt so spoilt. Food was delicious and the general atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely come again when back in the area.
Lovely pub & landlords/ladies. Went New years eve-free buffet & disco . Made me feel perfectly at home. 5***
Friendly owners, good beer and great food. Hubby had a steak which he says was cooked to perfection and I had a vegetable (vegan) pie which was homemade and delicious. Had such a nice evening sitting in the late sun, drinking beer and eating fantastic food.
We had an excellent two course meal at this very pleasant restaurant. The service was first class and our waitress was very attentive. There was an extensive choice of delicious home made starters, mains and desserts. The price was extremely good value. I would highly recommend!
Good food good atmosphere all at a reasonable price. Great landlady Nothing is too much trouble
Really loved it here. It's our kind of pub with a bonus of great food and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it and we'll be coming back next time we're in this neck of the woods.
