Found this gem when visiting our son at uni .
8 of us had a wonderful evening meal, great that it accepts dogs .
A lovely warm fire, a nice expansive menu, we had Lasagne, beef and Ale pie, chicken New Yorker, and a special of Roast beef .

Decided to come out for a meal and chose here, never been here before however it was absolutely amazing! I had the fish & chips which was incredible and my partner had Hunters chicken which was also lovely. Service was quick and staff were so friendly. Will definitely come back. Thank you Bluebell,

Food was great although took a while to come out especially as there were only two other tables in the dining area.

Promptly greeted and shown to our table. Provided with crayons to keep our granddaughter entertained, which was a nice touch. Great choice of food on the menu. Food was very tasty and hot. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great experience all round. Thank you.
What an absolutely gorgeous pub! We enjoyed the last of the summer sun out in the garden, pretty beamed building behind us, glorious views in every other direction!

My husband and I just had a wonderful meal at the blue bell. My steak was cooked to perfection rare to medium, husband had fish and chips, the fish was hanging off the plate. Worth every penny.. lovely gardens and great atmosphere… Will be back soon….Thanks guys.

Never been before . First impressions were excellent, the pub is cosy, clean and lovely decor.
My 6 year old had the kids meal which was very good quality . The starter was big and in her words " best Mac and cheese iv EVER had"

Absolutely lovely place! The food was excellent and presented well. Tony and Andy were the perfect hosts and the team were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. If you want to have some drinks and food and stay over in your van/motorhome just call in advance to check table bookings
Very good menu- choices included veggie. Right sizes portions. Fast service. Very did friendly. Lovely decor. Outside space is very attractive. Good spacing of tables. All round great. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there.

I really appreciate that they supply blankets for if you get chilly.
I also was very impressed that the server told us what was sold out when she came to get our drink order. It drives me nuts when restaurants do
