As you approach the pub, it looks well kept & draws you in. On arrival we received such a warm welcome. The atmosphere & the various crackling fires confirmed we had found a gem. All the staff in the Bar & Restaurant were very pleasant & helpful. We were only passing through Malvern, but felt so comfortable here, we hoped we would get snowed in! (Unfortunately it didnt snow!) We had a drink by the fire in one of the many cosy corners. It was very busy but very relaxed. We had a wonderful meal in the Restaurant, which was delicious. I strongly suggest you have a meal here, wonderful food, beautifully presented. We will be back.....Adrienne & Neal Walkley

This has to be the best pub in the land. Great beer and cider and the food is pretty darn good too. Such a friendly and chilled place to go at any time of day. Malvern is very lucky to have this watering hole. :-)

Great old fashioned pub, that seems to have the balance right for good food without encroaching on the pub side of things. Dog friendly & a great outdoor area.

Lovely friendly pub that this very dog friendly. Excellent service and lovely food. Only slight quibble that really should have allowed me to score it a 4.5 was there wasn’t enough salad with the feta cheese we ordered.

What an excellent pub! Very busy with groups of drinkers. Its obviously a meeting place in tbe nicest sense. But we went for food. We both ordered the steak pie in the fear that as always it would have the pastry plonked on tbe top (not a tue pie), but no it WAS a proper pie with lovely short crust pastry all round! Perfect! And what's more we asked for mash rather than chips, which although not on the menu they gladly served. The waitress as very friendly and attentive also. Atmosphere - the fact that it was called the dining room says alot! Very nicely furnished with a homely feel. Recomended for anyone, and is close to walks at the top wooded end of town. Parking easy. Go there!

Really nice pub with a relaxing and cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The food was very fresh and well presented and exactly what you would want from a pub after a walk or run on the Malvern hills. The food and drink selection (especially craft beer!) is big and prices are reasonable. Particularly recommend the burger, the chips and sandwiches. We would definitely go back!

Excellent characterful pub. Great food and vast range of ales, beers, cider 😋. Lots of seating inside and out. Nice views of parks and hills behind pub. Best place we found in Malvern.

Went to collect some ale and stayed for a drink and fish and chips. Staff were very helpful and helped us out with a couple of barrels of ale as ours had not turned up. Nice pub, nice food and very doggy friendly.

Omg. The crisp game is immaculate. Pork pies were banging. Ask for them hot, trust me you won’t regret it. Bar staff are very friendly. Great pub. Would definitely recommend

The best pub we visited on our recent trip to Malvern. No problem to try some of the very good ales before I bought. A pint of Saltaire Cascade ale and a large glass Rioja for £11. The management put a large bowl of roast potatoes on the counter for customers to help themselves. Real fire and vintage memorabilia on the walls. Impressive outdoor space.

A loverly English pud with great choice of real ales and really good home cooked food.. I had pan fried pork chop from the specials menu,it was served with 2 fried eggs and excellent home made chips. It was well worth the visit and I would highly recommend a visit if you are ever in Malvern 👍👍👍👍👍

We enjoyed an excellent meal at The Nag's Head at very reasonable cost. Although the pub was busy, the restaurant section was not overcrowded but was very comfortable. The service was friendly, helpful, and efficient. We look forward to a return visit

Wonderful traditional pub with dining room and beer garden. Great COVID measures in place. Excellent chef with hearty portions and can handle dietary requirements. The Chicken schnitzel was amazing and the burger was spectacular! Really lovely friendly staff from calling to reserve to service throughout. You need a mask to use the bathrooms and when you walk around but not when seated and eating/drinking.
