My parents and I popped in with a last minute booking, to celebrate my graduation with a little dinner party. The venue was quite cozy, with low ceilings, warm lighting and comfortable seating, giving the air of a pub that invites you to get comfortable. There was plenty of outdoor seating scattered

A beautiful and welcoming location. The food is delicious and the staff very kind and friendly. And the service was very fast. I have been 5-6 times and it is my favorite restaurant. I'm allergic to dairy and always find different dishes to try .If I could give them 10 stars

Amazing staff! Excellent customer service. So helpful and attentive. Excellent range of food on offer. Really enjoyed the salmon, although it could have been crispier on the bottom which would have been superb, but it was well cooked and flavourful. Crisp, green vegetables, lots of flavour.

Beautiful to sit outside with the dog, they were great in bringing over a bowl of water for the dog. Such lovely staff and good food, we only had nibbles but couldnt resist the mini dessert and coffee to top it off

The ribeye steak was awful: it was cooked as I requested (blue) but it was tough and tasted like cardboard! It's not the price I am complaining about as I would be quite prepared to pay more for better quality meat.

Service staff were incredibly friendly and chatty. Made for a really pleasant visit. It was nice and cosy inside. I was very surprised to find out the building is over 400 years old! A piece of history! Food is was very fast to arrive at the table and was very tasty. Thanks!
First time we've visited this pub in many years. Excellent value fixed-price table d'hôte menu, well served with a friendly disposition. We had to wait a little while to be served, but we were in no hurry and the pub was remarkably busy. Food excellent, and drinks served quickly.
