Great village pub. Really friendly and polite staff. Dating back to 1700's the place has oodles of charm and history, with inglenook fire place and style too. The top bar is dog friendly, as is the beer garden to the rear. Food is very good, well priced and varied too.

Loved it, great vibe, food and service. Hadn't been here for a while but will be back. Homely village pub. 4 mains, 4 desserts and 7 drinks for less that £30 a head. Great choice, value and quality.
First visit Friday 21st Jan for an early tea. Busy with locals drinking. We were made very welcome and our food was served promptly and hot. Thoroughly enjoyed our tea and will return.

We had a great meal here on Saturday. The staff were friendly when we arrived and ordered, and the food was fantastic. The chef was very knowledgeable and accommodating of my gluten-free diet.
