Lovely place! Friendly landlady and very welcoming. Menu was vegetarian friendly which is rare in the pubs. Dogs were not only welcome and very much fussed over! Always winner in my books. Cannot wait to come back!
4 of us had a nice lunch here of jacket potatoes with different fillings. Seems a funny thing to say but the spuds were lovely, apparently they rub salt with oil on the skins then bake over rock salt, really tasty.

Had pizza that was amazing so came back for the roast which was just as good but the best part was the live entertainment on Sunday after our meal. Would thoroughly recommend eating here. We were family group of ten including two children and a dog. Were made to feel welcome. Adapted children's meals to suit the children which was much appreciated. Service was excellent. Will return when next in the area.
