Lovely countryside inn. Just off the Trans Pennine Trail so perfect place to stop off. Very dog friendly with outside seating and indoor dog-friendly area. Good range of craft ales & delicious burgers.
We really enjoyed our lunch at this homely friendly local. Fantastic home cooked food lovely friendly service covid safe and very dog friendly. Crazy golf was a fabulous bonus we had the course to ourselves. Will definitely revisit when next in the area. Walked here with my Cocker Spaniel from Horns
Incredibly warm and welcoming pub with a great selection of beers and wines. Big community venture with s local shop and library and restaurant which does a great selection of meals. Well worth a visit and if you're staying local, an easy regular haunt for when you're on holiday.

Lovely food, kind service and very family and pet friendly.
Lovely relaxed location, friendly and helpful staff and great food. We had steak and ale pie plus the beef and turkey roast, simple food perfectly cooked and the gravy was terrific. Dog friendly with a dedicated inside seating area. Highly recommended.
Camping locally, 4 of us called for evening meal, and made very welcome. Good menu and food freshly made. Reasonably priced. Would certainly call again if we ever visit the area again. At the moment the pub is only open Friday and weekends
It's the little touches that will bring you back . Service is spot on and lovely staff . Cheap prices but the food is delicious
I drive past the Wrygarth Inn on my way to work however had never visited before. My son and I called in whilst walking along the Trans-pennine way for refreshments and o was surprised to find out that as well there being lovely friendly staff there was also a small mini golf course at the back. As
Lovely food and service as always. We go here quite often with my dog and it's very welcoming having their own dog friendly room at the front and then non dog area in the main dining room. The carvery is lovely as well as the steak pie. All freshly made and reasonably priced. Would definitely recom
Had a really tasty lovely meal this afternoon and the landlady was very welcoming. Many gluten free options too. Highly recommended we will be going again
What to say, went there for a joint birthday celebration, staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Food was served quickly, everyone enjoyed it, and the bill was extremely reasonable (though this followed a trip to London last week, so perhaps my expectations were a lot higher than normal). All in
We went for two nights and really enjoyed it really good food and one of the best landlady's I have been abl to meet. Really hospitable on all counts and I had the slimline 😲sticky toffee pudding for desert last night 5 star. We will be back.πŸ‘πŸ‘
Absolutely beautiful we've been many times & never had a bad meal from Sunday roast to steak & things in between thanks to Ray (chef) all staff are very friendly & approachable will definitely be back again
Had Lunch here yesterday and the food was exceptional. Fillet steak and steak pie and two empty plates, also had a pudding each, again two empty plates. The only advice I would give them would be to be a little more attentive to the customer. Not once were we asked if the food was ok until the plate
