My daughter and I were lucky enough to win an afternoon tea competition here, we claimed it today and it was amazing. The place and staff are lovely, the staff couldn't do enough for us. My daughter is nearly 3 and loved the play area and garden especially the fairy garden. We will be back again. I highly recommend this lovely tea room.

Amazing little tea room with a fabulous array of things to do for kids both young and a little older too.
Great for parents or just mums or dads to take their kids and not having to worry about where they are or if they’re safe..... this is a great place to be with lovely food and drinks on offer.
The place is available to hire on Sundays and it made an ideal venue for our twin girls 3rd birthday this weekend, we were really pleased with the food, drinks and entertainment....

We won a competition from Minnie’s for exclusive hire and chose Minnie’s to host our daughter’s 1st birthday party.
It was absolutely lovely. Rachael gave us the same attention and service as if we had purchased the venue hire and the tea room was set up beautifully. As we had a morning party of 10am- midday we opted for coffee and croissants/cake for adults and snacks for the kids consisting of a fruit and savoury platter.
Rachael also baked us a delicious dairy and soya free cake to meet our daughter’s dietary requirements. She dived into the icing with delight!!

We had my little girl’s first birthday here yesterday. It was superb. Cannot rate it highly enough for the under 5’s. We had 7 adults and 9 kiddies ranging in age from 9months to 4 yrs and all happy - healthy food as well as cupcake decorating and excellent play areas. Rachel could not have been more accommodating and planning the afternoon was made easy for me, something I appreciated with my return to work after mat leave just the next day (today!).Thank you Minnie’s! We visited Minnie's for the first time today for toddler group. What a lovely place! I just love how child friendly it is, the play area is great for kids to play while you enjoy a coffee. Toddler group was great felt very welcomed all staff were so so lovely! Great range of different activities little one only 10 months but will love the arts and crafts when he's bigger! No doubt we will be back very soon! Would recommend anyone to pop in.
Really lovely place for any occasion. Hosted a baby shower here with lots of kids who were kept entertained by the plentiful toys while the adults enjoyed the delicious food and drinks. Would thoroughly recommend for any similar occasion, birthday party or just a coffee with friends- we will certainly be going back! X

Oh my goodness what an absolutely perfect place for preschoolers, my 4 and 2 yr old had the best time!! Lovely healthy menu too that the kids loved. Clean and tidy and fantastic new toys. Everything has just been done so well and with so much thought! We'll definitely be back in a regular basis!!! �
I went with my sixteen year old! I know this place is aimed at younger children but it is still a friendly cafe with great food that welcomes anyone. We went for lunch at 4 o'clock , most places would say sorry no food we are closing up. Minnie's was happy to serve us and the food was great.
Minnie’s is such a lovely little place. The food/coffee was fab and lots of choice for intolerances as well. The staff were brilliant with the kids and they loved the play area which gave us a chance to have a coffee in peace. Will definitely come again. Only suggestion would be to put a stair gate on the stairs leading down to the toilets.
Thank you for a fantastic tea party for Billie's 5th Birthday! The kids loved drinking tea and decorating their own cupcakes, and the grown-ups loved eating their lovely jam & cream scones whilst the little ones had fun in the play area and searching for fairy doors. � We will definitely be back! ���
Booked Minnies for my son's christening. Despite discovering a flood on the morming of the christening, the team ensured everyone was well fed - one guest said the sausage rolls were the best he had eaten in his life! Children and adults alike enjoyed the beautiful outside areas. They pulled off a great event in very difficult circumstances and nobody was disappointed. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with.
Also a great place to visit on normal days. Tasty food, clean, great play areas for children, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I'm so glad I found this little treasure. I brought my daughter today and she had a blast. Such a friendly, well thought out place. We will definately be returning. Thanks so much for a lovely morning!
Stunningly beautiful tearoom, walk inside and you will be surprised by the care taken in decor creating an atmosphere of fun and vintage .So much on offer for the little ones to keep them happy whilst mums and dads can enjoy a peaceful bite to eat and drink. Ooooohhhhh and the out door area at the back with play house is just amazing. Well worth a visit you will not be disappointed. I will be back soon. X

Really lovely, friendly and attentive place. Lovely to see the minions with my son and a little bonus of happy birthday being sung to me. Adds memories to my day. My son loved the play area and my parents enjoyed as well. Will be recommending and be visiting again. It would also be a nice place for sons 2nd birthday in January.
Minnies in Dunmow is such a fantastic little tea room/cafe. They are brilliant with children and there are so many toys/fairies/play areas/events to keep little ones amused - it is a real gem! I have a 3 year old and twin one year olds and I struggle to find places accessible with a double buggy and safe enough to give the twins some freedom from it, and Minnies offers them a safe space to play and yummy child and grown up friendly food. Love it!
It has such a cute shabby chic feel with all disney decorations. There is plenty of space for kids to play indoors and outdoors and the cakes are amazing! Large selection of teas available too which is great for me who doesnt like normal tea 😁
Amazing place, the kids loved it as much as we did. Plenty to keep them entertained so we could enjoy some peace. Good food too and very reasonable prices. Almost don't want to give such a good review to keep it quiet for us next time we visit!
Lovely little tearooms specifically designed for babies and toddlers. Staff are lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Simple food done very well. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Lovely place to bring young children, they have a lovely garden which you can also access from round the side meaning you can prams around easily. It's very clean and the foods good too.
