What a fantastic place! My wife and I thought we'd drop in for a light lunch when we had an hour to spare. I have never been made to feel so welcome, so quickly, as we did here. Russell introduced himself immediately, and then went to great lengths to explain what local produce he had bought in to
Lovely little hidden gem. Popular with cyclists. Great coffee and bread pudding. All the food looked fab. Super friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Great place for a lunch stop, especially for cyclists and walkers. Plenty of outside seating.
Super friendly place, even the other dinners were chatty. Coming from up north were most people chat anyway it felt like being back home. The food was lovely, beautiful homemade pastry on the goats cheese and leek quiche. It's a case of. I've got this and this, what would you like to go with it. Ob
Hidden away in High Roding with plenty of parking across the road. Can just stop there for a coffee, cooked breakfast, cakes or full Sunday roast. Lots of tables outside, welcomes cyclists and dog walkers. Frequented a lot by cyclists which I have found a good guide to the standard of food.

Really friendly welcome, cake is just like mum made (this is a good thing!), he had steak sandwich, I had smoked salmon pate.... Both delicious. Full English looked and smelled awesome. Everything is served as a handsome portion size. Looking forward to coming back.

Unique drop-in, fresh homemade food, Russell's hospitality and chit chat, spontaneous vibe, no pretentions. A hidden secret, for everyone from passing cyclists to ladies that lunch. No other place in the area comes close to this for customer focus. Say what you want, they'll come up with something.
