The Green Man At Lindsell - Great Dunmow - Photo album

Friendly, accommodating and helpful. A great place to dine and meet up near Stansted Airport. The children could run around in the garden without upsetting other guests. No complaints about the food, but would suggest maybe more vegetables. Would definitely visit again if we get the chance.
We had the most amazing evening and James and his amazing team couldn't have done more to provide beautiful food fabulous cocktails and so much kindness well over and above anything we could have hoped for. The atmosphere is warm friendly and super welcoming. Would recommend to anyone and will be ba
The Sunday roasts - one beef, one pork, was delicious. Served piping hot and the homemade dessert was equally fabulous. Service was also excellent. We are hoping to move to the area so this would become our ‘local’. The restaurant was virtually empty when we went (5pm) and no one else had come in wh
Lovely pub with a good sized restaurant, both the food and the beer were great. Really helpful and friendly staff. Will be going back soon.
Fantastic find. Very friendly and happy staff, food was excellent and so was the wine. Would certainly recommend
Lovely pub - we didn't stop for food only drinks but the food smelt devine! Great service, helpful and friendly. Interior beautiful and great seating area outside as well
Excellent public freehouse and restaurant. Food amazing very tasty. Immaculately presented. Bar staff very friendly especially Claire. Thank you 😊. Look forward to our next visit .
10 went today for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff were exceptional, table cloths, great menu choice. Food was delicious. Thank you at The Green Man
Popped in for a bite to eat. Was very pleasantly surprised. Service by Toby was excellent, smart, helpful. Food by Nick was divine. Would definitely recommend as a place to visit./eat.
Excellent food, great choice of local dishes. Great service, good value
We ate here on Saturday and the food was amazing to say the least. The service was even better, the waitress was lovely and smiley and made a great cocktail and the manager James was outstanding, will definitely be going there again.
Highly recommended. Good sized portions, perfectly cooked. Many families there, but you'd never know. Beautifully done up, and huge garden for the summer. Gentle background music and chatter gave it a great atmosphere for lunch. Would be even better if another V / VE option or two were added (onl
Stopped here for Sunday lunch. Pleasant atmosphere, attractive bar and dining areas, friendly and quick service. We both had the roast lamb and usual trimmings which was no more than average - the meat tasted bought in rather than roasted on site, which is always disappointing.
Very nice menu and food and service excellent. It was our grandaughters birthday so a special occasion. Nice portion sizes. Ale pie was just so yummy. Bit of a journey for us to get there but worth it.
Great little pub with its modern yet country feel. Very warm welcome both before and after using facilities on a local walk. Great coffee and comfy sofas by the log burner. Thank you!
The starters was really good, the Sunday roast meat was not that nice for the price. Service was very good for the large group of us. The pub was pretty empty and with the "locals" that was in the pub just kept looking at us like we shouldn't have been there.
Popped in for a pint on the way home. Lovely pub Staff very friendly
Reasonably priced, nice venue and staff. A bit out of the way but worth it
